We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest. Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. šŸŠā€ā™‚ļø There is plenty to explore in the area, including: šŸž Crows Nest Falls National Park (good for a swim) šŸƒ Bullocky's Rest and creekside walk in Crows Nest (dog friendly) šŸŒ³ Ravensbourne National Park (rainforest) šŸš Crows Nest Museum šŸŽ£ Cressbrook and Perseverance Dams šŸš‚ Muntapa Railway Tunnel towards Cooyar ā˜•ļø French patisserie and other cafes in Crows Nest, as well as boutique stores (Nolan's Block is very popular). šŸ› An amazing Arts and Crafts store, with local hand made gifts (open every day) šŸ“š Second-hand book store šŸ‘©ā€šŸŒ¾ Also markets in Crows Nest on the first Sunday of each month. Further along the New England Highway, Toowoomba is host to the annual Carnival of Flowers in Spring. We hope we can help you have a pleasant and peaceful camping trip! We kindly ask that you familiarise yourself with our property rules, this is not a place for loud music and rowdiness! Please note: We have a long gravel driveway and dirt/grass tracks to the campsites. 2WD accessible, but it's rough. Pet friendly šŸ•

Great location and so quiet

Lorikeetā€™s is the newest site at Hilltop and it was my first time to camp there but went really well. Itā€™s not as high on the hill as the other sites but still has a lovely view overlooking the valley and it was more easily accessible from the main driveway. I found the site secluded enough and itā€™s well away from the other campers. It feels so remote and can usually get perfect starry night sky views here but only takes 10-15 mins to get to Crows Nest town centre.

Private, amazing views and location
Gorgeous location and very secluded. We loved our stay here. Amazing views and sunsets and quiet. Sites are kept separate so it feels like you are the only ones on the property. Farm fresh eggs were delicious and a short drive to super cute town of Crows Nest. Would definitely recommend.

We had an great time camping at Eagleā€™s Nest! If youā€™re looking for a peaceful spot with stunning views, this place is perfect. The scenery is beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset, and the whole vibe is super relaxing. The friendly farm animals wander around and make the place feel even more special. Itā€™s a great spot to just chill, enjoy nature, and escape from the busyness of everyday life. Overall, we had a really good experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves quiet, scenic camping with a little extra charm!

Leacia & her partner (sorry canā€™t remember his name), weā€™re so helpful! Their lovely doggy greeted us & so did the ponies! Incredible viewsā€¦. Yummy chicken eggsā€¦. Cutest town to visit nearby with op shops, books & cute cafes. We got tucked around the corner at Bellbirds nest as it was a windy weekend & it was really nice & sheltered that weekend. Beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend!
