180 acres of undulating hills, paddocks, horses and cattle. Use the property as your base to explore the gorgeous local wineries, hospitality and amazing country sunsets! Camp as close to the gate as you like or venture further into the property for a more offroad and private experience. Bring your kayak for a bit of dam-fun. Horse facilities available for those travelling with their four legged grass eaters :)Pull in and relax! Take a stroll in the hills, around the dams or up the driveway to check the cheeky cows. Feel free to pat the horses or watch the horse work happening in the arena. If you are in 2wd or don't like getting too dirty, the Front Paddock Gate Site is for you, but if off-road is more your style, ask the hosts about access past the house to a more 4wd worthy journey to your private dam-side location. If getting out and about is on your agenda, head in to the town of Goomeri (18km=17min) where you can enjoy the epic french style bakery or further on to the winery region including award winning Clovelly Estate or Dusty Hill Winery. Perhaps water sports are more your thing? Then explore 'BP' dam to pop in the Jet ski, boat or fishing line. Best time of year to check out the area is Autumn for it's amazing Pumpkin Festival and again at NYE for the famous 'New Years Rodeo'. If you need anything at all, just chat to your friendly hosts.

Family Fun and Tranquility!

We thoroughly enjoyed camping on David and Kathryn’s property. It’s very easy to get to and while we are able to take on 4WD country this camp site is easily accessible by all vehicles. The main camp site is just inside the main gate and while it’s close to the road it’s one of the quietest locations we have had the pleasure to camp at, very peaceful. Across the drive way is where most of the action happens with horse training and this provided a distraction to either pat the horses or watch David at work. Their property has other camp sites if you decide you want something more private though we found this location very suitable for us. We will be back , as it’s a great base for visiting this beautiful region.
