Larapinta offers a unique camping experience with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a popular choice for many campers. The site is praised for its scenic beauty, privacy, and the presence of friendly wildlife like cows and kangaroos. However, some campers noted that certain sites are less private due to their proximity to access roads. The need for a capable 4WD vehicle is frequently mentioned, highlighting the adventurous journey to reach the campsites.
Lovely little spot, shady, lovely views and firepit what more could you need. Loved seeing the friendly cows and kangaroos. The site is right next to the access road, so it's not as private as other sites. People and vehicles pass regularly quite close to you, and you can hear people from site #2 but wasn't a big deal. We will certainly be back to try another site and would highly recommend.
We had a great weekend stay at Larapinta at site 1 top shelf. Great communication from Cameron . Big beautiful site with lovely views . Would recommend
