Our property is located in Sheldon, just 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD. We have a private camp site available at the top of the hill on the property which offers some views of the surrounding area. There is world class mountain biking trails accessible across the road from our property. You can also enjoy a beautiful nature walk up to the summit of Mount Cotton which has breathtaking views out to Moreton bay and to the Glass House Mountains. Your hosts recommend taking a picnic lunch and making the most of your time at the top. We are 15 minutes drive from the Venman Bushland National Park which has two excellent walking trails where you can spot a huge array of wildlife. Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a short drive away which is a great spot for a picnic, has more great mountain bike trails, BBQ area and beautiful walking tracks. We are also close to Sirromet Winery which is great for wine tasting and sometimes has great events on. Campfires are permitted but must be kept in a fire pit/drum and must be outside of restrictions. Pets are welcome. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Please take all waste with you on departure. Note - absolutely no trespassing is to be tolerated, stay behind the rocks and fences and have a lovely stay .Our property is located in Sheldon, just 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD. A private forest hideaway.
Tent · Group trip
A nice little private spot in a valley. Great for a night by the campfire. Feels like you are deep in a forest somewhere.

Close to home!
Tent · Group trip
It was such a delight to immerse ourselves into the feeling of the BUSH, without having to be too far from home. The dam was picturesque! The sunsets, devine. The owner was so kind as to help us out when our car got bogged (had rained for a solid week before we arrived). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

nice secluded campsite, steep descent and ascent to reach the site further away from the house. Too bad we didn't manage to stay through the duration due to our dog chewing through his lease and breaking loose. But definitely an enjoyable place to camp at.
