Mountview is a very special place having been in the family for over 120 years. The working farm is 650 acres of grain cropping and also runs a productive Charolais beef cattle stud. A central stopover point an easy 15 minutes from Toowoomba city and only a few kilometers off the New England Highway. Explore the local area with so many attractions and places to discover including the Darling Downs Zoo, The Historical Bull & Barley Inn, quaint little country towns, sunflower fields, Glengallan homestead, hiking tracks and so much more. Enjoy wide open spaces with magnificent views. Watch stunning sunsets, toast marshmallows around the fire pit, watch the night sky for a dazzling display of stars, hike or say hello to the many Charolais cattle on the property. You will have access to the facilities at the Ironbark Barn which include a pool table, dart board, television, kitchen and bar area, and hot shower and toilets. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, BBQ, dish-washing station and rubbish/recycling facilities. IMPORTANT; Please note to hook up to power you will need a lead of at least 30 meters. 15 amp power is supplied. Power is allocated on a first in best dressed preference. If you desperately require power please advise at the time of your booking and all efforts will be made to hook you up to power. Campers must arrive before 5pm to check in. Nice surrounds

Had a nice stay. Drive through site, was easy enough to level van. Bathrooms were clean and shower was hot. Barn was a nice space, enjoyed a couple games of pool. Was a nice settling. Enjoyed the drive out there.

Katrina was super sweet and hosts such a great location for camping. Amenities were kept in clean condition and the barn was very cool. Would recommend!

Mountview Farmstay

We had a great camping at Katrina’s Mount view . Very welcoming owner. Stunning views, always clean amenities. The barn saved us from rain and wind too. Huge area to kick footy , play bocce or just admire the beautiful sunsets . We love the honey we purchased 🍯 Easy one hour drive to beautiful Crowns nest NP with a great easy 4,5 km walk as well. Once more time thank you Katrina 😊

Mountview Farmstay

Mountainview is amazing. Katrina is a wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble and even helped us with a jump start when our car battery went flat. Beautiful and well kept camp sites, plenty of room and amazing amenities. The barn is a fabulous space and kept us dry during the day a couple of times. We will definitely be returning.

Loved It!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mountain View!! The property is very neat and well laid out. The facilities were fantastic. Very clean bathroom & toilet area - showers were great!! Loved the farm memorabilia. Great space for kids to play. Highly recommend.
