Camping at this site offers a tranquil escape with stunning views of mountains and a variety of friendly animals roaming the grounds. Guests appreciate the clean and well-maintained facilities, including hot showers and restrooms, which add comfort to the rustic experience. The host, Guy, is frequently praised for his warm hospitality and knowledge about the land and animals, making the stay both educational and enjoyable. While the majority of feedback is overwhelmingly positive, a few reviews note the limited natural shade at certain campsites, suggesting visitors should prepare accordingly.
We had a great weekend camping on Curtain Fig Drive. Kids loved waking up to the animals around our van. Guy is also a great host and would happily recommend his place to anyone.
Beautiful views from the well maintained and private campsite. Great spot and very peaceful! Guy and his family were very friendly and accommodating. Loved interacting with all of the animals, great for kids! Highly recommend and look forward to staying again.
Enjoyed our time at One Tree Hill. Each site has lots of room and spacing. Bonus having hot shower and toilet. Cool animals. All in all a classic Hipcamp.
Our recent stay at One Tree Hill was great. Our campsite was tidy well maintained and discrete from other sites on the farm. The amenities were clean with loads of hot water. The walk from the camp site to the facilities was not far at all. The views from our site were really nice, over to the actual single tree on the hill, and down to Mt Barney. The animals were friendly and very enthusiastic about their feed! Isabelle was delightful with the wrangling of the wayward goats and her adventures with the horses. We will be returning again to One Tree Hill to rest, recuperate and recharge!
We give One Tree Hill (Josephville) 11/10 .The extra point was for Isabelle :)
