Great site! We stayed at Back Creek site one and had a beautiful little patch all to ourselves. Plus our own private swimming hole should we have been so inclined.
Kimberley was a great host. Very helpful with answering my questions and concerns (weather wise) leading up to the date. Lots of horses about which kept the scenery interesting too!
Kimberley is an awesome hostess. We were booked in for the weekend after cyclone Alfred hit. Kimberley kept me updated on the condition of the campground and surrounding areas. It’s a lovely quiet spot. She has a port a loo which is clean and does not smell.
Beautiful area to stay. We had a group of four couples & we all enjoyed our stay. We all fit well in the area allocated to us. We were right on the creek with easy access for a swim. Very relaxing weekend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Run Amac! Front gate well marked and excellent directions provided easy access to our site (Back creek site 1). Very private with our own watering hole to swim in. Although appearance was brown from recent rain, the water was clean and so refreshing in the hot weather. The site itself is sort of divided in two flat sections by uneven ground but plenty enough flat space each side for our 4WD with awning out one side and rooftop tent out the other … we chose the spot by the shade of the trees and path to the water. Friendly horses visited us on the first evening then didn’t want us to leave the next day … but neither did we. We’ll be back again for sure!
Really beautiful spot, Kimberley was an amazing host. We found the spot Incredibly peaceful, and only a short drive from Toowoomba. We will definitely be back, even if it's just to watch the horse archery on the other side of the property.
