It was really beautiful and we felt very happy with how private we felt . Our puppy was as free as can be which made it extra special my boys had a good grass area to play football and run around. Really great

Best camping trip!
We’ve never stayed somewhere where we truly had the whole area to ourselves. It felt really special. Swimming in the beautiful fresh creek during the day was a highlight - the water was see-through! We walked up to the winery for an afternoon of drinks and wood-fired pizzas and came home to the campfire. We went for walks down the road each day and saw the resident platypus early in the morning – so cute! The area is so beautiful with so many amazing birds and we even had some friendly cattle stroll past us a few of them wanted a pat. We did an awesome day trip hiking at O’Reilly’s which is nearby. So handy to have awesome toilets it made camping really easy for everyone. We loved our stay at Sarabah Creek Camping we are already planning our next trip!

Site 2
Really great spot. Very private. Perfect for young families, as the creek is nice and shallow directly below the camp spot. Deeper down further, but safe for the kids to roam alone near the grounds. Very clean, with beautiful views. Clear communication with the host, who were accommodating and easy going. Wpuld definitely recommend this spot.

Loved camping at site 2. Huge private grassed site where the kids of all ages could run around all day. Beautiful creek to explore and the toilet was a welcome addition!

Platypus Bend (Site 1)
Suitable for large groups
We camped at Site 1 Platypus Bend as a part of a large group. We had ten families set up camp (caravans, camper trailers, tents) plus a few single swags set up around the site and had HEAPS of room to spare. There was a large space in the middle of the site that the kids used to run around, kick a ball and set up games of cricket and badminton. For the large group Pat was super helpful in organising private porta-loos to be brought in for exclusive use by our group. The beautiful creek is easy to access from the site and is such a great spot to swim and play. The creek was wide enough, long enough and deep enough for a proper swim and for the use of inflatable water toys and boards. The creek was a favourite activity for the kids who were in it or exploring alongside it from morning until dusk. The best bit was that the creek was also for our exclusive use only and we did not have to share it with other campers. The kids enjoyed the visit from the friendly cattle from next door. It was a real novelty for our "city kids". The open camp fire was a great central spot for us all to gather and enjoy campfire cooking, happy hour and R&R time. Our entire group loved staying here and will most definately return.
