Sally'a wonderful land made for a memorable experience for my family's short camp trip.
It was easy to navigate to and the campsite are distinctively marked, all on flat green surfaces, with choice of under the trees or open sky for easy set up.
It is far enough from the other campsite where you can see them, but can't hear them. We bought along 2 yapper dogs, but the land was big enough that they paid no attention to the other campers nearby and were preoccupied with their own leisure. The land was big enough they can go exploring to their hearts content.
The cows are a lovely sight and are very accommodating hosts, whom graze nearby and occasionally come up to the river for a soak.
In the morning they were brave enough to come and have a peek on our campsite and sniffed around our tables, but were well mannered enough not to make a mess.
Campsite 3 sits along the middle of the river where it connects downwards along the stream allowing for a fun kayaking/fishing experience, it is also closest towards the entrance/road, but it is far enough away that you won't hear the road if you're not looking for it.
By night time, all you can hear is the flowing of the stream and kookaburras.
Thank you Sally and her family for opening up this land for us. We would highly recommend for a peaceful camping experience.
