It's awesome
Tent · With kids
Easy to get to with beautiful scenery. This is our new favorite spot. Perfect amount of clearing and the river is close enough to hear from the campsite. The site is also stocked with the basics and lots of tables and chairs. The porta potty was surprisingly clean. I can't wait to bring my son back.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! It was beautiful and peaceful. We also enjoyed how private it was. We brought our two dogs and they loved it! We were thankful for James as well, if we needed anything he was quick to respond. The tent was nice, it included a heater, and blankets. There was plenty of kitchen items to utilize as well. We had everything we needed and will definitely be back. We ended up catching 12 fish as well!

Farm and River Experience
Tent
Very nice camp with a clean and large tent, many camping items provided such as camp stove, battery lanterns, firewood and starters, propane heater, linens, campfire cooking grate, composting toilet, sing, camp chairs, water. Had a very nice hike along the river, saw heron, kingfisher, heard screetch owls. Cows mooing with some farm equipment sounds on this working farm. Very quiet, private, owners very hospitable. Great experience!

One of the best campsites in Virgin
Tent · Group trip
Honeysuckle getaway was such a well thought out and serene camping spot. James truly provides a slice of heaven on his farm showcasing Shenandoah valley’s beauty. The campsite is set up with a glamping tent complete with a bed, blankets, lamps, games, and local information pamphlets. The outside has a swing chair, kitchen area with a stove, gas canisters, cooking utensils, and more! The fire pit also has chairs and citronella candles for the mosquitoes. The porta potty was spotless as well. The whole site is curated towards an easy camping experience surrounded by beautiful nature and within steps of the river. We fully enjoyed our experience as a group of friends and will be back! Thanks to James.
