A peaceful and hidden piece of land in big timber along the skagit river. Camp under big Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedars, right next to a boat launch into the Skagit River. Come with family and pets to enjoy privacy and connect with nature. Close to many good hiking trails while still getting 5G internet at the campground. This camping site is over looking the skagit at the west end of our property. It has a 8x12 pit to set a tent in and plenty of space for another on the ground. There's a picnic table, bench, a burn barrel and small weber BBQ. This site is a 10 min walk from the parking area and bathroom.

Host was very friendly and helpful, the site was awesome and felt very private. The bathroom was so clean and nice although I never actually used it because I travel with my own. My iPhone which is on Verizon got a bit of a signal but my Samsung on at&t did not. My dog had a great time wandering around but he's a big scaredy cat so he didn't want to sleep in the new tent I brought. We did get to spend lots of time at the actual site with amazing views and nice camp fire during day and dusk and retreated back up to the parking area to van camp during the night. Overall it was an awesome hipcamp and just the bit of peace I needed.

The camping spot on Reeds land was great! Nice view, nice large picnic table and canopy provided with a bench, chairs, and a firepit. Site was well maintained. The short walk from the parking to the site is a bit longer than what was expected. Don’t bring too much to camp with unless you bring a wagon/cart. Would also recommend getting to the spot with enough time to unload during daylight because of the walk. Reed was helpful and communicative during our arrival.

What a sweet little spot! Reed was so welcoming and kind. It is about an 8 minute walk from the parking area, and felt very secluded, private. Close to great hikes, old growth forests, and beautiful Lake Shannon! I had a peaceful weekend here with my dog.

We loved this camp site. Lots of privacy, beautiful river and surrounding area, nice bathroom facilities, and the host was very accommodating. The family loved it, and it was perfect for the dogs. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for having us!

You can tell the spot is cared about. Awesome setup, like 20 seconds from the water. Bathroom was a nice cabin with lights. Reed showed us the spot pretty late at night, 10/10 the trees and proximity to the river are hard to beat

Really nice Skagit spot!
Tent
This is a very cool and unique spot on the Skagit! High bank camping with awesome little gravel beach in lower water. Well put together camp with an amazing compost toilet building, beautiful maps and woodworking! A little steep going down to the water but really pretty and relaxing to bring down a camp chair.
