The idea for creating a cabin rental/camping vacation getaway in the Allegheny Mountain Range came to life over several meetings at a Bob Evans restaurant in Columbus, Ohio, between co-owners Paul Liimatta and Joe Boffo. Joe had been accumulating land in the Genoa, West Virginia, area for several years and had dreamed of building cabins, tree houses and uniquely designed vacation rentals and campsites on a beautiful area called Hampton Ridge. Come and judge for yourself ;)

A Rustic Ravines Camping Adventure

Rustic ravines was great. We went on Labor Day weekend so they were having a buffet and talent show when we first arrived. The directions were easy to follow and signs were posted as we got closer. They have zip lining there and amazing looking cabins. We camped out and the host was very helpful and has built a really unique place not far from where we live. This place is a dream for anyone with a side by side or atv. Would def stay at rustic ravines again. Would love to try a cabin

It was a perfect family friendly get away! We hiked and rented a Gator. The hot tub was a nice extra! Joe and Diana were wonderful! I would highly recommend Rustic Ravines to anyone! The only negative was the Zip Line was not in use while we were there.

Cabin Rentals

Extremely nice place and curious what it will look like once the new saloon style building is completed. Enjoyed the hot tub as well as a nice drive around the perimeter of the property. Certainly recommend folks follow the driving directions for those without off roading capability, since there is only one approach with blacktop. Ultimately, wish it was closer as I'd love to go back again.

This was a great stay for my family and me. Joe and Paul were really friendly, showing us around the property and telling us about their future plans for the space, which sounds amazing. I can't wait to see where they are in 1 year. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to enjoy the outside, but have accommodations that make you feel like you're in a fancy resort.
