I stayed at the Base Camp for one night. I loved the privacy on offer as well as the views of the hills behind the campsite.
There was a lot of room and two different spots at Base Camp that you can park.
The toilet and shower on offer is a few hundred metres over a wide path with some lighting as well, the ablutions block was clean and there were soaps provided.
The value for money here is great, I'd stay again for sure.
My recent stay at Lewana Cottages was truly special. Errol & Nola are exceptional hosts who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
There's something magical about this place that's difficult to put into words. The peaceful bush setting, the charming atmosphere, and the rustic yet comfortable facilities all combine to create a memorable experience.
Being located between Nannup and Balingup meant I could easily explore these delightful towns during my stay.
Highly recommend to anyone seeking an authentic bush experience with wonderful hosts.
Its a beautiful spot, we loved watching the kookaburras fishing in the dam. There was very little light at night making star watching a great bonus. We will definitely be heading back!!!
Lovely spot below the dam wall, lots of shade from huge trees, lots of bird life, pleasant out looks.
Hosts were wonderful, coffee cart in the morning was wonderful.
Great having a chat and interacting with hosts and other visitors.
Highly recommended.
Unbelievable experience! The whole place is just such a breathe of fresh air. A heritage listage with the most fascinating buildings but still with comforts of home. Many tracks to amble and even a dam to wash away your “city” cares. Don’t miss the morning coffee cart for your morning fix. It’s a lovely way to connect with Errol (barista extraordinaire) and Nola. Loved everything about this hamlet. Highly recommended
Great camping spot. Feel like you’re in the middle of the forest with toilet and shower amenities. It’s quiet and nice walking trails right by the sites.
