Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Bush blocks located in the central of all the south west goodies, 20 minutes from any great spot.
Good to plan your days instead of going one way and coming back, relax in the bush and spot native wildlife.
Sometimes we get Roos cruising through our bush as the neighbourhood like to feed them.
The property is the first right just off the Bussellton Highway, the sound of the highway isn’t as bad as expected, the highway goes through a man made valley/gully and we are on a hill.
There are no facilities here, campers need to be self sufficient.
Strictly no fires. Fire ban is in affect.
Please take all rubbish even if there is an accident, respect other people’s privacy try create space for others to come and enjoy the same way you have.
If your vehicle fits in the bush we would prefer you to camp there as opposed to the open paddock. With a red cone near the gate please stay to the right
STRICTLY NO FIRES OR OPEN FLAMES.
Clean up you own rubbish, including toilet paper. No longer available No longer available

Craig's campsite offers a convenient location for exploring the nearby areas of Busselton, Yallingup, Dunsborough, and Margaret River. While some mention the proximity to Bussell Hwy, the road noise is generally manageable, particularly if you set up deeper in the bush area. The site is spacious, providing privacy and a chance to enjoy nature, with friendly visits from the resident dog and occasional chats with locals. It's a no-frills spot ideal for campers who are self-sufficient and looking for a peaceful base to explore the region.

Perfect location. So close to Busselton, Yalingup, Dunsborough, Margaret river.
Recommend setting up in the bush part of the property very hidden away.
Road is definitely noticeable and close by but if you're camping to go explore the region then there is no issue!
Thanks!!

Great spot, really loved the layout and the beautiful bush and trees. Kids loved the nature cubby made from trees. Also loved the little ones roaming free that came and played and chatted with my 4 and 3 year old's.
First night I parked too close to the road, second night I only a few spots around and found the trees deadened the noise from the road. Just a hot tip for sensitive sleepers

We were pleasantly surprised.
Thankfully were warned of traffic noise as right near Bussell Hwy. Not too bad but can hear it. If you are out all day exploring and using the site as a base, it’s perfect.
Bush area suitable for camper trailers or tents/swags etc, Maybe 2 to 3 sites that would fit a trailer plus the area near shed. Large paddock/car park area if more one nighters or larger caravans. Would be nice if sites were clearly marked or had ability to book specific area either bush or paddock. It’s first come, first served. We liked there’s a max of camp sites booked as we would rather not be on top of other campers in a small area.
Resident dog wanders and is very friendly & will go home if you ask him. Probably not suitable if bringing a reactive dog.
We stayed in the bush part. We brought our dog so he loved sniffing around the bush for his little morning/evening walk.
We loved being to stretch out without other campers right up against you. Was a relaxing weekend in the bush
