Our camper amenities include 2 showers ( on timer as we have limited rainwater), 2composting toilets, and an outdoor kitchen built from timber harvested onsite. We are dedicated to creating a more sustainable lifestyle and sharing our beautiful farm with others. As a permaculture farm recycling is a huge part of our culture so please read our detailed guidelines to waste management for campers. The farm features extensive food gardens , a beautiful Yoga Barn, and a farm and forest walks. Our campground is close to town, bush walks and cycle trails.     Deepdene Farmstay is a beautiful rural property with a fabulous view! We have a number of unpowered camp sites located approximately 5 minutes drive from Augusta, which offers a number of tourist attractions and great fishing spots. We are also located a short 800m from Jewel Cave, which is a very popular tourist attraction and café. Our campsites overlook paddocks of cows and horses, with a lovely breeze and a number of large trees to offer shade in the summer, while being protected from the harsh winds in winter. If you are pretty much self contained and would like to camp out away from the hustle and bustle, in a tranquil and peaceful setting...then this is for you. However, if you like life's luxuries, then this won't be your cup of tea. One of the reviews said nice but a bit wild, I think they must be used to caravan parks or something. We try our best to fit in with the environment, so we have a couple of compost toilets and solar showers (for private not public use, for more info on this, please enquire ) and compost and recycling bins to try and do our bit. Dogs are permitted but this is a working farm with livestock so uncontrolled dogs chasing wildlife or stock which cant be controlled will be dealt with as needed including euthanised. If its hard to control don't bring it please!

    Our 2.5 acre property in Dardanup West is a beautiful green space of mostly level grass with some lovely large shade trees. We are surrounded by other small holdings with farm animals including chickens (and roosters), sheep, horses and cows. We also have lots of wildlife including Kangaroo's, Ducks, Ibis, Black Cockatoos and many other birds frequenting or passing through. We back onto Gavins Gully which is an idyllic creek running through ex-farm land. The creek is a great place to spend time with your children making boats from sticks and leaves and watching them sail away. Or maybe enjoy a picnic by the creek and just relax in the tranquility. There's plenty of happy memories to be made! We get lovely sunsets and if you are up early enough, beautiful sunrises. The evenings are always stunning with dappled light coming through the trees! It is magical and our favourite time of the day when everything is cooling down in summer. Enjoy taking an evening walk by the creek and along the bridal trail or just sitting back and enjoying the sounds of nature with some nibbles and drinks. Make sure to look up at night and soak it all in. Listening to the wind rustling in the trees is one of our favourite sounds and the kookaburras calling in the morning and evenings. We also love to watch and listen to all the different bird callings - you may hear a Boobook owl calling to a mate! We are centrally located to loads of attractions! Check out some of them below: • Bunbury and it's coffee strip, bars and beaches only 15 minutes away • Ferguson Valley with all it's Wineries and Breweries only 10 minutes away • Wellington National Park with it's stunning bush, mountain biking, off-roading, swimming and hiking plus the worlds largest dam mural with walkway across the top only 20 minutes away • Wellington Mills, Gnomesville and Wellington Discovery Forest only 20 minutes away • Crooked Brook Conservation Forest picnicking and hiking only 10 minutes away • "The Paddock" sunflower farm in Crooked Brook only 5 minutes away (January only) • Dardanup Bakery and Tavern only 2 minutes away (if you're looking for a great pie or parmi) • Donnybrook and it's Apple Fun Park only 15 minutes away • Boyanup with it's Rail Heritage museum and regular farmers market only 10 minutes away. • Eaton Fair with it's huge range of shopping opportunities only 15 minutes away • Busselton only 40 minutes away (Dunsborough approx. 1 hour) We have a composting toilet available as well. If you do have your own though, there is a dumpsite located in Dardanup (5 minutes away) at the information bay by the railway line and little church. We provide running bore water by tap and an outdoor kitchen sink by our back fence where you will be camping (cold water only). The water is safe to drink and wash dishes in. There’s a rustic outdoor shower with 2 options. A "rain storm" cold shower (great in summer when the water isn't cold) or a nice gentle hot shower. :) PLEASE KEEP SHOWERS TO 10 MINUTES. Checkout our extras for power and firewood! Please note we live here too so you will see us around and our house can be seen from your campsite. Our kids are free spirited and love coming to say hello! Being ex-farm land, it's generally an open environment, but we don't have neighbours too close by (100m+). We ask that campers don't make lots of noise after sunset and please avoid shining torches towards our home or our neighbours. NOTE: The camp area is in full view of our home, but we try to respect your privacy. Please recommend us to your family and friends and leave us a review at the end of your stay, so we can keep reaching for our goals to make this place even better! We are open to suggestions on how to make your time here even more memorable. We're also open to having travelling families who need to park up for longer periods by negotiation.     We are a family homestead on 5 acres planted out to permaculture principles back in the late 70's with some 40 different varieties of fruit and nut trees to graze on. Our Toobs are repurposed 2.1m diameter by 2.4m deep concrete pipes with one way glass, a queen size bed, 2 small bedside tables, light, power points, electric blanket(winter), pedestal fan (summer)all linen, towel and curtains for privacy. Internal volume is just over 9m3. They've been called glamping pods, concrete tents, micro habitats, sleep stations. . . .but at heart, they're an immersive experience. How they look, where they are, the way you sleep and where you wake up is an altogether novel experience that we feel most people will enjoy. Toobs are serviced by a shared safari-style wash house with hot water shower and composting loo. Our block is on the Rails to Trails beside the Margaret River. Main Street and cafe strip are a short 10 minute forest walk away. We are popular with mountain bikers due to our close proximity (ride to trails) MR's MTB trails. Surfer's Point and Prevelly are 9kms away. We have chickens, horses, veggie gardens and are pet friendly. Just to be clear, we encourage our guests to eat out and we do NOT have kitchen / cooking facilities. Also, we are NOT party people and value your privacy and respect for our rural lifestyle and those of other guests.

    Hello, welcome to Rosa Glen Farm in Margaret River. Our farm is set on 80 acres divided by vineyard, open fields and native bushland. We are perfectly positioned to see our beautiful region and our wines.😁 Just over two years ago we stumbled upon this gorgeous property and turned it into a boutique, biodynamic winery and farm. Our vines however were already established and some of the first planted in the area in 1978. Since buying the farm we have introduced olives, a small citrus orchard and numerous fruit trees. The farm is a working farm and well.. a massive work in progress. Our passion is the land, the environment, making good wine, listening to music, eating good food and sharing all of this with our community. We are opening up our farm to share with like minded souls who share the same passions as us (our community). Over the years we have started to learn about the secret spots on our property. The ones which are secluded, capture beautiful pieces of light at certain times of the day, where the black cockatoos love to rest on the branches of the gum trees, the areas where weeping peppermints create a haven and the frequencies and syncronities of the frogs elevate at certain times of the year and times of the day are so loud that you cant hear yourself think. As a result we have a number of beautiful secluded spots on our property we would love to share. As we are small and have no facilities and we can only accept a small number who are fully self contained. (Please see NOTES below) Our region 'Margaret River' is famous for WINE but there are so many other things that make this place special. A wild but beautiful coastline uninhibited by people, karri forest, caves, mountain bike trails and a 120km coastal walk. We are also known for surfing and close by are a number of world famous breaks including Surfers Point which is located 20 minutes from the farm. Closer to the farm you can enjoy a short walk to a beautiful winery called SI Vintners, drive to The Berry Farm or the quirky town of Witchcliffe. At Witchcliffe you will find Darnell's General Store which has a beautiful giftshop (The Shed), cellar door (Amato Vino), coffee shop (Witchy Brews) and fantastic pub (Dear Darnells) and vintage stores which it has become reknown for. NOTES: We only accept self-contained caravans/motorhomes/vans/rooftop tents, so PLEASE DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUR OWN CHEMICAL TOILET. NO EXCEPTIONS, YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY.     Situated in the centre of the south west between Margaret River and Pemberton, our farm is a great base to experience the best of this wonderful area. Surrounded by forests and farmland, central to the Munda Biddi Bike trail - you can drink in nature! We have flat grassy areas under trees for camping, inside and outside showers, toilets, camp kitchen with BBQ, small fridge, electric frypan and small camp stove, washing machine and device charging facilities. Sorry dogs are not permitted We can take tents, camper trailers, RV's and small caravans up to about 8 m is OK. We do not have power to the campsite. The camp ground is on a working lavender farm and farming activities may be happening. We are small and exclusive so if you can't arrive before DARK please do not book. We don't want to be greeting people all hours as we are very busy so check in is 2 to 6pm. The lavender farm shop and cafe is open Friday to Sundays in term and Thursday to Monday during school holidays (closed February and Match) but campers can purchase lavender products on request. Camp fires in season (Usually May to September) and weather permitting. We supply fallen logs so no need to bring your own but fires only at night and not in the morning. Breakfast Basket or BBQ packs available, these are cook your own we supply all the ingredients and tools or dine in our cafe during your stay. Please note We are small and the sites are close together Our campground is not suitable for all children and we do not have entertainment for children, we reccommend other campsites that are better suited for children. Only 1 car allowed per site (extra parking available at rear of campground) Please do not book if you can't arrive by 6 pm and please check out by 10 am You will be sent instructions on how to access the campground once you have booked.
