Learn more about this land:If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, explore the great outdoors and enjoy some quality family time, this is the place. Come and explore 200 beautiful acres! Located only 15 minutes away from Kamloops, BC. Our property is situated in an ideal location for accessing both the city and the wilderness.We have 10 campsites available for both tent and RV/trailer campers. We provide a washroom, showers, picnic table, and potable water. We also have a convenience store on site. We look forward to hosting you!

Ellison Funny Farm

Enjoy the sounds of our hobby farm from dawn until dusk..... from goats to ducks to peacocks and everything in between. Lots of hiking and beautiful waterfalls within a one hour drive. Float down the river or dirt bike in the back country and come back to a cozy fire in the evenings. IG ellison_funny_farm

Pitch a tent or pull up in your camper and enjoy the sounds and entertainment our funny farm has to offer.  If you are traveling by car only we do have a travel trailer that can be used.

We have horses, cows, donkeys, goats, pigs, chickens and ducks and everyone will be happy to meet you. 

There is great hiking behind the property and beautiful waterfalls within a 45 drive.

Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban, pets are welcome.

Our property is located in Barriere, BC. Barriere is a special place with its own unique character. It is located in Kamloops Country in the Thompson Okanagan region of British Columbia. This is a small, friendly community, located only 45 minutes north of Kamloops, that has all the major conveniences of a city but offers a life of quiet, relaxed living. Surrounded by rolling, forest-covered mountains, the local scenery is an excellent example of why British Columbia is known for its spectacular beauty.

Holmwood Farm

A beautiful farm with wide open views of pastures and livestock grazing peacefully.  The dry camping spots are located next to a creek w access to water fill up if needed at main house at the main house not far away.  Located 30 minutes from Kamloops on a paved road.  Many options for beautiful private hikes right from your tent or RV.  One communal fire pit is available and firewood can be purchased at the main house, or as part of your reservation.  A u-pick vegetable garden is available to guests at no additional cost.

Louis Creek Retreat

This charming log house is situated on a family owned and operated 160-acre forested property with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Take in the serenity of this remote and unique property while enjoying the modern comforts of a freshly furnished home.

Constructed in 1984, this beautiful log house was family built with wood sourced directly from the property. All water dispensed inside the log house is pumped directly from a year-round running spring behind the building. You are more than welcome to bottle up some spring water to take home!

Our property is the perfect place to unwind and de-stress as you take in the picturesque views and fresh mountain air. Whether you are here to take it easy as a family or get a group of friends together for a celebration, you will feel right at home.

Entering the front door at ground level you will find a king bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and large living/dining area with access to the rear patio. There is a staircase leading upstairs to the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and another bedroom which sleeps 3 with a bathroom just outside.

The basement hosts an entertainment area with satellite TV (option for HDMI input), foosball table, board games and a beautiful 10 x 10 ft leather couch. There is also another bedroom with a queen bed and a backup single mattress which can be laid out.

Let the kids loose outside in the large garden area. There will be some sporting equipment for guest use but feel free to bring your own. Go on a hike through the forest or relax on the deck by the pool and hot tub. End the night with some smores around the fire pit (weather and season permitting).

We also have miles upon miles of trails that go all over the mountain, that you can access directly from the property.  Ideal for ATVs or side-by-sides.

You should receive nothing short of a five-star experience when staying at our property. If you have any requests prior to your stay we will always do our best to accommodate.

Rustic Ranch Oasis in a rural setting that offers a quiet getaway surrounded by Lakes, Mountains and forests .  A perfect starting point for any outdoor enthusiast regardless of your choice of outdoor adventures. ORV trails, hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, and outdoor trails steps from our ranch. Horse camp/lessons/pony rides also available with a Licenses Certified Equestrian Coach with Equine Canada on site
