The farm was purchased 40 years ago by the Miller family. Two families have been raised here it has been a great home. Local Boy Scout Troops have camped here on numerous occasions and always been back for more. Camping, stargazing, drum circles and hiking are our Forte. What to expect
Tent site

8 guests max per site
Campfires allowed
Communal. Beautiful Munson Hill Far,m. 15 Acres of wooded Hillside and 14 acres of pasture land. 30 years growth has left plenty of firewood on the ground. Primitive camping only, but there are facilities on the property.
Toilet available
upon request in the house!
Pets allowed
On leash. There is plenty of room for dogs to run. Small dogs need to be restrained from getting into the cow pasture, where a huge bull....named "red" (of course) resides. Large dogs, if they get in, do so at their own risk. Red is formidable, as is Blossom with a calf. All cows are friendly and tame when you're not in their space.
Potable water available
Spigot. The farm was used as a camp area by the Boy Scouts for several years. The only real hazard is the poison ivy.
Picnic table present
No showers

Large trash bags will be provided.

nah....not this place. - host phone didn't work - no service at the location, so I went into town 2x call - when we finally found the host the camping spot hadn't been mowed. This was at 4pm. - he proceeded to mow while we walked around (wasting time). - did not provide a trash bag and we needed one. - had to make our own fire pit.

Unfortunately, due to a freak accident which landed my 2 year old admitted to Children’s Hospital we were unable to make our camping trip, so I cannot leave a review regarding the facilities. While I’m aware of the “No refund policy” with Hipcamp, I have been using travel/booking apps for years and have had a couple other emergencies in the past where once the owners heard the extenuating circumstances, either gave a full refund or allowed me to book another date, unfortunately that was not the case this go around with this owner, even after I explained we were in the hospital with my 2 year old. As a mom on a limited budget this was my kids yearly vacation and now they aren’t going to have one since my allotted money for lodging was spent on a destination we were unable to actually go to on account of a family emergency. So while yes I’m aware of the no refund policy, I’m still very disappointed and would not recommend this camp ground.

Brit's land is a great place to unwind while primitive camping. Brit himself is very helpful, generous, and full of interesting stories. We did have initial trouble getting in touch, though, and I think the number to get in touch with him in the app may be incorrect. Not busy at all this time of year when we came, and I do recommend it for someone looking for a nice, quiet spot.

The property was beautiful and we loved exploring all of it and will definitely be back again! Loved having the running water between the sites, and my son really enjoyed the cows!! The space was perfect, especially when camping with kids! I prefer to not see others when camping so that was the only downfall, although the other campers were quiet and respectful of the place. We will be back!!
