Great peaceful spot!
Tent · With pets
This is a great peaceful campsite for those who want to camp off the beaten path. It is approximately 30 minutes away for many amenities including Mark Twain cave the Mississippi River and Mark Twain lake. We had a boat and went boating multiple times on Mark Twain lake but a great spot to deploy from. There's a great creek that our kids played in and great for rock hounding. The host was extremely accommodating and really nice. He checked in just the perfect amount but also let us camp in the peacefulness. We did have to use our own porta potty, although a camping 5 gallon bucket potty was provided if necessary.

Tent
This is a great place if you want seclusion. We camped right off the creek and David was nice enough to have a pile of firewood waiting. Seen lots of wild life as well. All in all a great spot to camp!
