PeaceTree Farms is a delightful escape into nature, offering a peaceful and private camping experience away from typical crowded campgrounds. The hosts, Katie and Steve, are praised for their hospitality and friendliness, making guests feel welcome and well-accommodated. Visitors enjoy stargazing, fishing, and kayaking on the clean, serene lake, with ample opportunities for exploring the surrounding trails and woods. However, some reviews mention the presence of ticks and a slanted campsite, which might require some extra planning.
Katie was a communicative, friendly host and let us know all the details for when we arrived. The place was very cozy and we had everything we needed! It's peaceful and relaxing, and we would highly recommend staying there.
The Cottage at Peacetree farms was absolutely perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. The cottage itself was very tidy and had everything one would need for cooking, cleaning, and showering. The farm was very beautiful too. 150 acres of trails, pathways, lakes, peaceful woods, and during the holiday season, Christmas trees!! My favorite spot was sunrise hill. I loved waking each morning and watching the sun come up. Katie, the host, was super friendly and promptly replied to my calls/text. The only thing I wish is that I would have stayed longer.
I had a great time here. It was very relaxing. Spent 2 days by the lake reading. Short walk from the cottage. I do want to mention, there is no fire pit at the cottage. There is a charcoal grill, they do provide it. Beautiful views. It's not as private as it seems in the pictures, but everyone was very nice!
We camped just one night at the Reflection Ridge site, and it was perfection! Walked in the woods, took the kayak out twice, and enjoyed the spectacular stars. Gorgeous setting and super friendly/helpful hosts. Can’t wait to go back!!
The cabin is clean and cozy. The property is gorgeous, with nice paths around the woods and their pond. Great habitat for birds-restored prairie and woodland.
