Private property located on the Nowendoc River, Caffrey's Flat. Camp overlooking the Nowendoc River, just you and your group only. 4hrs drive north of Sydney, enjoy this exclusive location with access to prime Bass fishing spots. Very peaceful with an abundance of wildlife. You'll may even spot Playtpus and Koalas if you're lucky! Good swimming, bird watching, canoeing, kayaking or just chilling by the river bank. Access by 4x4 car is best. Not accessible in the wet, so please keep a close eye on the weather forecast. Not suited for camper trailers. We do not have toilet or shower facilities, so campers MUST be self-contained and take all waste with them. Campfires permitted when fire restrictions/bans aren't in place. Pets welcome! Happy days! Firewood provided, firepit, private. Campfires are allowed but only when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. BYO firewood, although you will be able to forage and find some on the property.

Pets allowed

Off leash, on leash. Pets welcome but please pick up after them - so the campsite is kept pristine for other campers!

No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets

Trash bin. We would prefer campers to take their rubbish with them, however, we do have a rubbish bin if need be. Please ensure NO RUBBISH is left lying around the campsite/in the campfire.

Beautiful

Tent

What a beautiful camp. Once you make it down the tight 4x4 track this camp opens up to a beautiful large green grassy area in front of the river. With the gorgeous sounds of the bubbling rapids not far away we caught some little bass and eel from the bank. Alex was a fantastic host. We braved it with our 4x4 Hilux and an off road 13 ft Austrack hybrid van. Wouldn’t recommend…as coming up was an issue. Doable but only in the dry! Perfect spot if you have a 4x4 with a tent or a very small light off road 4x4 camper only. Thanks Alex and Jodie! You were great!

A fantastic spot to relax uniterupted. -Plenty of space to yourself -Close to flat grass with enough flat to setup big tents. -Barefoot friendly (except for sooks) -Very open for solar collection all day. -Unreal deep swimming with a rope swing to play, the kids and I loved it. -Great for mucking around with a kayak. -No phone reception which can be a good thing. If you need it, a 10 minute walk back up the top will get you 1 or 2 bars with Telstra. -Captiva made it down and up in the dry no problem. If wet, I'd say a different story. If you have a trailer or wet, 4WD needed. -Alex an unreal host, very accommodating

A piece of paradise ✨️

I had a great time doing some solo camping over Christmas. Loved the rope swing, although I lost my gopro on the jump and it's super deep. Alex let me use his snorkel to find it. Super grateful. Kayaking, fishing, peaceful sunsets. Truly a gem. I'll be back for sure. Alex and his beautiful doggo Jody are great hosts.

Alex and dog Jody very welcoming. Definitely need a 4WD to get to camp spot. Very pretty and quiet. Would have preferred an easy access to the river for a swim and not having to walk through long grass - other than that very tranquil.

We had a great weekend away at Knownrock Farm! Loved waking up and swinging into the river. We also enjoyed the flowing river rapids that were a short walk away. Very peaceful and relaxing.
