Devine healing space
5 m car
The water hole is Devine and the camp kitchen was great and well equipped, despite having to leave early due to weather and family in need of my assistance Rupert was so kind to offer me the days I had left in leui . I will return and hopefully bring some friends with me, there is no reception and I was there alone which was awesome however it would be a great place to enjoy this space with others. A very healing space I felt.. a place for self expression and earthing..

Horrible stay.
Unfortunately we had a horrible stay at the caravan. Since we arrived, a group of 5+ teenagers that lived nearby the property were hooning doing wheelies on pitbikes and drifting a freaking car 5m from the caravan throughout the entire campsite. I have videos to prove. Absolute no respect, we smelled burnt petrol for 4 hours. They continued to scream and wonder around staring at us during the entire afternoon. We didn't feel comfortable at all. I couldn't get in contact with the host to complain as he never showed up and no reception. My girlfriend is autistic and we went far away from the city to have peace, which we never found.
The caravan was incredibly dirty and was not cleaned prior our arrival. We payed $150 for a night and felt robbed for the conditions. All the utensils were prehistoric and the amount of cobwebs and insects inside the caravan was astonishing. No running water inside the caravan as the sink wasn't working, fridge wasn't working and the only rag for cleaning was moldy and black. Insulation is falling apart with bugs crawling out of it.
We woke up sweating buckets and there was no power for some reason. It would be nice to mention as well that you need to be shorter than 1.70m to fit in the bed, as not even my small girlfriend could stretch her legs.
It's a beautiful place that needs a lot more love and care for the campsters staying and paying good coin for what it was meant to be chilled night at the bush.

Absolutely 10/10. Most peaceful campsite I’ve stayed at. The creek is beautiful and good swimming hole. There were only 3 other campers there and they were very welcoming and up for a chat. I’ve seen some bad reviews about the toilets being not the best but they are composting toilets! And in a national park deep in the bush I don’t really know what else you’d expect. I was very happy with them, plus the host explains what the waste is used for afterwards and how it helps the planet which I am all here for!
I’m planing on returning to this campsite on my trip back north and I can’t wait!

Exceeded Expectations 10/10 for R&R
Tent
Incredible. Cedar Creek Flat absolutely blew me away and exceeded expectations. The perfect spot for a quiet relaxing get away. Not overcrowded, gorgeous riverfront camping with a swimming hole to die for, communal space, jungle gym, trampoline (my inner child loved that) and only 20 mins down the road to the charming little Chillingham Store for supplies. Also met a few of the people who live on the land and they’re very friendly. Will visit again!
