The stars were amazing! It was great to get away from city lights. There were no utilities as expected. The site was level and easy to access. Just look for the wood sign with the address number. It blends in. We passed it and had to back up. There's no place to turn around.

Not as cool as you think
Tent
I don't know... i paid 25$ with the fees to sleep there. it took me forever to understand where was the spot since it's just a piece of land in the middle of nowhere. No indications to get there, no answers from the owner, debris everywhere and a lot of frustration... Hear me out, i don't care sleeping in the wild in the most basic conditions with no support, but when i pay 25$ for THAT... this was worst then most of the free place i've been in the last year traveling.

Good spot for Guadalupe
7 m Class C
Easy to find, loads of space, 45 minutes to Guadalupe. We met Sherry when she came to lock the cows in their pen - very friendly and showed all her cows, hens and chickens. Bring everything you need as the nearest store in Dell City is 20 miles away and is very small. We had great sunsets. Welcome to the wilderness

Spacious and quite
Tent · With kids
We had a fantastic experience on Sherrys land. Open and spacious. Star gazing at night was other worldly, and dark enough to see the Milky Way with the naked eye. With a short drive to the National park and a cute farming town, there is plenty to keep occupied. If we’re out that way in the future I’m definitely booking with Sherry.
