Terlingua Cemetery, located in the ghost town with the earliest grave dating to 1903, when the cinnabar mining operation began. The cemetery is visited by residents and tourists daily. The night long celebration, Dia de los Muertos is celebrated every year and is definitely something you don't want to miss!
This is a peaceful and quiet camp with great views.

Shyla was a fantastic host! Came to make sure that we set up correctly and gave us some recommendations on what to do in the area. Sites were well-marked and maintained. Beautiful Stars, Sunset, and sunrises in this little camp surrounded by mountains.

Loved the setup! Great views and very open. Be mindful of the winds so we parked our cars near the tents to help with the high winds. The added convenience of a dumpster fire pit and grills were a huge bonus.
