Dragonfly Farms raises grassfed and grass finished beef and lamb and pastured pork and eggs. We are committed to regenerative farming, a way that improves our grasslands and creates wildlife habitat while producing delicious, nutritious and humanely raised food. We are excited to open up our 840 acre farm to campers who appreciate our farm and the outdoors that we have to offer. Contact us if you want to order any of our meats or eggs. We keep our meats frozen, so plan for thawing. We also can offer a farm tour and guided horseback rides through our trails, fields and forest. And our property is excellent for bird watching. Camping with animals!
This was our first stay using Hipcamp and I was so pleased! It was my wife's birthday and it combined two of the things she/we love--camping and animals. Our site was super private and peaceful. If we needed anything, Katherine was very communicative and responded quickly to text/calls. I would highly recommend!

Peaceful farm camping

What a great place! This an amazing weekend! We stayed next to the red barn which was far enough away from everyone and the animals, but still close enough for a tour of their farm, and hiking along the property. Bruce gave us a VERY knowledgeable tour of their cows and horses. We loved how quiet it was and that it was easy to access. We will definitely be back!

My family and I had a wonderful experience camping at Dragonfly Farm, next to the creek. The land is beautiful and the site quite peaceful. The site we camped at, 'beside a creek' is tucked away in the Northeastern part of a pasture next to a gentle hill. The area is mostly level and had a campfire ring and two picnic tables. There's penty of room for several tents and a few vehicles. The other camp site is over the hill past the barn and is only visible as you drive in. We signed up for the regenerative farm tour and it was great. Bruce showed us their farm and went into great detail on their operation, conservation practices and day to day happenings. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. All in all this was a great primitive camping experience. We will definitely be back.

Great spot!!! Nice and quiet campsite at the edge of the field. Easy to find, far enough away from everyone but close enough if you need something in a pinch. Campsite was level with plenty of room. Picnic table and fire ring included. We'll definitely be marking this one a favorite.

Absolutely coming back!
I loooooved camping at Dragonfly Farms. Katherine and her family were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We stayed at the “site by the creek” but staying at either site would’ve been great. (we went and checked out the other site too) Dragonfly farms has lots of walking trails and lots of animals. But also has lots of privacy. You can really choose the way you want to camp. The stars were beautiful over the hills. We opted to do the horseback riding as well. I have never rode before and Katherine made me feel soo comfortable. Overall, I loved my experience and I really have zero negative things to say about staying at Dragonfly farms. If needed, there is a food lion about 15min away in the town of Louisa. :)
