However, some reviews mentioned challenges with the road conditions and occasional host interactions. Overall, it's a serene spot for those looking to unwind and connect with nature.
Place definitely needs some improvement
Road into property was full of huge pot holes. Dogs were a bit intimidating but found out they were very friendly.
I'm sure the place could be very nice with some tlc
The rugged driveway led to a delightfully peaceful farm site with various animals milling about. One finds it mostly quiet (except for arbitrary rooster crowings), with level land, ducks on and about the lake near various pastures for their horses.
Wonderful stay! Anna and GDaughter were so welcoming and helpful. Pond is perfect. Much enjoyed walking ranch and seeing all the animals. They have the best dogs on the ranch who were even kind and gentle with my little service dog, who sometimes doesn’t quite understand how to play freely while still technically on duty. Felt very safe. Also felt very private the branch and the area around the pond and even down Spring Lane makes you feel like you’re in a park while also on a Ranch. We loved it so much for returning this weekend.
Rented two sites to accommodate vehicles and make sure there were plenty of room to set up several tents. The host was rude and pretty much came to repo fire ring and plastic end table/chairs the second day of stay that we’d borrowed from another site.(not occupied at time). The sites are not as described and the host lost her wits on the second day. This was the absolute worst camping experience I’ve ever came close to having.! We made the best of it since we were already set up and had been looking forward to everyone catching up but it made for a really awkward camping trip. I thought after the first night that this would be a memorable trip and it was for sure but not like I’d ever anticipated. First night great with making do as you sometimes just do on camping trips but by the second day and the hostility about fire ring that we should have had to start with. This really hurt my heart being our first experience at a hip camp. I’m just at a loss why we were treated the way we were. There’s not enough space to go into full detail.
