Or, you can just relax on the provided deck or around the campfire with s'mores! This spot is great for the whole family. The cabin features one double bed and plenty of room to bring an air mattress. We have a canoe and paddleboard available for use. Firewood provided. Great weekend at Grandma's Cabin

With kids

My family and I loved our weekend at Grandma's cabin! It's a pretty drive through farming country that leads you to the cabin on the lake. The cabin is a nice little rustic cabin with old charm. The Lake is very clear with a few weedy areas and lots of fish including catfish! The views from the deck and dock are beautiful and serene. In the evening you can hear the frogs, birds and loons. Later in the evening you can hear owls calling and the catfish splashing at the shore. A quick walk up the driveway to road and you can find some wild raspberries. The kids spent most of the weekend in the water swimming and snorkeling and loved it. There's only 1 double bed but it's comfortable. We brought two single air mattresses for our kids (ages 3&8) The only downside was there was no air mattress or paddleboard as stated but there is a paddleboat and a canoe but it has a small leak. The stairs down to the dock need some repair in a couple spots and the dock was missing a board near the end. We just watched where we walked and had no issues. Guests will want to bring a can opener and some charcoal for the BBQ. Overall this was a good place to relax and recharge. I will definitely book here again and would recommend it to anyone! Best of all our kids had a great time and didn't want to leave. Thank you to our host Penny.
