Site 1 - Platypus
An amazing stay! The sites are level with well-maintained grass. The fire bowl was the best I’ve seen—truly impressive! The views of the Mary River were fantastic, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this campsite!

Beautiful spot and one of the nicest Hipcamps we have stayed at. Kaye was fantastic showed us to our site, we forgot to bring timber and Kaye even brought us some down. Would recommend and happily stay again.

Huge sites well away from others with spectacular river views. Easy river access for launching kayaks. Amazing sunrise and sunset. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back.

Hosts are great, very responsive and clearly take great pride in a beautiful farm.
Site was really challenging in the heat, not easy access to the water and no shade cover.
Hill decent to get down to site, fine for us but might be tricky to get out in the wet.
The roads in are beautifully mowed down and manicured for easy access
Very private and beautifully quiet
If I went to Gympie again, I’d probably try and fine a creek rather than the river in summer. Great spot for winter.
