The resort is located off Highway 385, the main thoroughfare through the Black Hills National Forest, yet is peacefully nestled in a quiet valley, completely surrounded by national forestland with a tranquil year-round creek meandering throughout the property. Rock outcroppings, hiking trails and offroad trails are within footsteps of every cabin. The serene space is an outdoor sanctuary centrally-located within 20 miles of Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, Needles Eye Tunnel / Highway, and Black Elk Peak. Your adventure will also take you near Hill City, Keystone, Custer, and Historic Deadwood. Drive a little further, and end up in Badlands National Park, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument, Sturgis, or Devils Tower National Monument. *****NOTE: HWY 385 Road Construction***** South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) began Highway 385 road construction , which is the main highway that runs through the Black Hills, from Deadwood through Custer, in the fall of 2023. The place was beautiful! Garrett’s is an amazing host. Really can’t say enough good things about him. I’m looking forward to coming back next year. Absolutely recommend it!

Tent camping was on the other side of the creek from the RV’s, which was nice. Picnic table, fire ring, and a nice pine for shade. Rest rooms and showers were some of the cleanest I’ve come across.

Gorgeous campsite. Our spot had a view over the valley through the trees. Nice campfire area with wood provide. Garret is super helpful and accommodating. We will be back whenever we are in the Black Hills.

Great location! Very peaceful and private area right by the creek. The staff were helpful and it was easy to find. Would come back again when in the area! The Host made it easy! Thanks Again!
