Highway Hideaway is a well-loved campsite with plenty of space and a serene setting, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. Campers consistently praise host Matt for his warm welcome and attentiveness, often mentioning thoughtful touches like fresh produce from his garden and activities for kids. The campsite's layout and the discovery trail are frequently highlighted as standout features, and guests appreciate the close proximity to local attractions. While the majority of experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some mention minor issues with leveling on certain sites, but it doesn't seem to detract significantly from the overall enjoyment.
Thank you Matt and family for making us so welcome with the little produce pack. We love staying at Highway Hideaway for the two nights we had the place to ourselves amongst your very beautiful forest setting some very majestic Karri and Jarrah trees on your walk trail. Also loved the little fairy gardens and the pot plants your kids had 4sale for there pocket money.
Cheers would highly recommend Rob and Lynne.

This hipcamp that is run by Matt and children is the best hipcamp that I’ve ever been to so accomodating always thinking of his clients the camp site are large there so well kept and the views are fantastic there’s also a walking trail with information regarding wildlife on his property this hipcamp will be on my return list for many years to come
The site was stunning and very well thought out! The close proximity to highway was alleviated by lots of space, stunning trees and Matt and family’s amazing attention to detail. We were greeted with garden offerings by two little enthusiastic volunteers - Ivy and Carter. 🥰 Matt and family also include a little info strolll through this very special part of the world
Loved it and wish we could have stayed for the week.
We really enjoyed our time here. Got a lovely welcome from Matt and also the kids dropped off some home-grown veges and fruit. What a lovely touch. Nice and close to town and surrounding attractions. Walks in the bush, birds, kangaroos, so nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend staying here. We will be back.
Loved the serenity, clear night skies and walking trail as did our 2 boxers. Very peaceful and relaxing, even had the kids bring us some fresh produce, went in great with our aunday roast. Matt was a great host and always making sure you have a pleasant stay. Thanks Matt and family.
