Taste of Old Florida

13 sites · RVs, Tents10 acres · Palm City, FL
A small but unique piece of land that was given to a family in the 1920s by the Florida Railroad Company. It stayed in the family until we purchased it. It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats. We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like. Minutes from I-95, but surrounded by the Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Preserve. Located on Martin Hwy, which was recently designated as a Florida Scenic Hwy. Fifteen minutes to Stuart and thirty minutes to West Palm Beach, a world away from the hustle and bustle. We realize that people also love Florida for Disney and tropical paradises but if that is what you want than this may not be your kind of place.

Peaceful Pastures

2 sites · RVs, Tents1 acre · Malabar, FL
Our property is in the country on over an acre of grassy pasture land yet only 5 minutes from the hospital, Publix, and main roadways - US1 and I95. Enjoy peace and privacy in a natural wooded setting that is fenced and gated with only 3 sites total. A Disc Golf park is 5 minutes away as well as numerous local golf courses throughout the area. The Indian River is perfect for kayaking, jet skiing, or fishing and is a 5-minute drive. If you want to get sand between your toes, the beautiful beaches on the Atlantic Ocean are a short 20-minute drive over the Melbourne or Sebastian causeways. Disney and Orlando theme parks are approximately 1.25 hours away; less than 1 hour from Kennedy Space Center and Port Canaveral. Located in one of the top places in the country to live, Brevard County aka The Space Coast offers a tropical climate, lots of sunshine, and continual rocket launches that are easily viewed from our property.

Grissome Pkwy. Launch View

2 sites · RVs1 acre · Cocoa, FL
First site is a 12x32 concrete slab with city water and a 30-amp camper electric service. The second site (near the rear of the property) is a 10x14 concrete slab with city water and a household electric service of about 13 amps. No sewage facilities for both sites, must have black water holding tanks. Located on an acre with Grissom Pkwy in the back. Very near the restaurant "Jabbers". Great views of rocket launches, just a few miles from Publix, other shops and other restaurants. About a mile to the Indian River, about five miles to the Banana River (and Kelly Park for windsurfing or launching boats) about 12 miles to Port Canaveral and the beach at Jetty Park or better yet (my fav) Cherie Down Park. CDP is great for surfing, beach fishing, viewing rocket launches or just beach walking. While there please visit Port Canaveral's host of bars and restaurants. Also, about 25 miles to the Space Center. PLEASE! Best way onto property is go west on Canaveral Groves Blvd 1/2 mi. to Alan Sheppard, left and left again at 1st. street (Atlanta St.). Back the 1/2 mi. to Knoxville Ave where the trailer/camper entrance lines up directly with Atlanta St. GPS does NOT know if you are pulling a camper/trailer...LOL!
