Rancho Laslendini

3 sites · RVs5 acres · Occidental, CA
RV, Trailer, Camper Van sites located on a coastal ridge-top orchard surrounded by redwoods. Each site includes access to artesian well water, 30-amp RV hook-up, 20-amp outlet, solar string lights, and a picnic table. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE RV/CAMPER VAN/TRAILER ONLY - WE DO NOT HAVE TOILETS/SHOWERS AND THEREFORE WE DO NOT OFFER CAR/TENT CAMPING - BYOB - Bring Your Own Baño. A great place to relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of the area. Wake up to a chorus of birds while the sunrises over the forest. Stay up enjoying the 360 degree star gazing. The property is located east of Occidental in a unique "banana belt" along the USDA 9a/9b climate zones, inside the "Green Valley" Sonoma wine appellation, on a quintessential country lane. Originally settled and farmed in the early 1900's by a family of Italian immigrants, from who the lane is named. One acre is our family compound, two acres are forest preserve, and the other two acres are the orchard - where the parking sites have been integrated. The orchard has many different fruit trees including heritage Gravenstein apples that were originally planted by the family from Italy. The Gravensteins are ripe between mid July to mid August. The orchard borders a forest with old growth Redwoods, Douglas Fir, Bay Laurel, Oaks, and Madrone. Some wildlife passes through the orchard, especially birds. The site offers great star gazing, sun rises, moon rises and access to a charming walk on a beautiful country lane for sunsets. Two minute drive to Occidental, and a twenty minute drive to the beaches of the Sonoma Coast and the Russian River. A great location to explore and enjoy nearby small towns, wineries, dairies, hiking, bicyling, surfing, kayaking, and farmers markets... or just relax at the site, make a picnic and bask in the serenity. Studdert Family Farm

4 sites · RVs, Tents4 acres · Temelec, CA
Our family farm is located in the heart of beautiful Sonoma Valley. A total of 7 acres with 4 in Chardonnay grapes and 3 as our homestead and sheep farm. Come feed animals, gather eggs and use our place as a launching point for your wine country vacation. While riding her horse through the vineyards, a friend of ours noticed a "For Sale" sign. Nice barn, lighted arena, hmmm...maybe my friends would like to move here. One phone call and a risky escrow led to our dream property. We've slowly made it our own and have found that growing roses, grapes, fruit trees, chickens and sheep are our specialty. We've been "camping" here since 2002 and can't believe our luck. With uninhibited views of the beautiful hillsides and a rural lifestyle, our farm makes us feel like Nature paints us a new painting every day. The Chardonnay grapes are turned into wonderful Carneros wines by some of the areas best winemakers.

Ocean Cliffside Cottage Driveway

1 site · RV1 acre · Moss Beach, CA
Hi! I'm John, with a fantastic driveway spot that's literally right across the street from the cliff overlooking the ocean in Moss Beach. Hear the ocean roar at night, dark, quiet neighborhood. Also 1 block away from the Fitzgerald Nature Preserve, where you'll see seals on the beach under the 100' cliff overlooking the ocean. At the other end of the park is a fantastic historic restaurant/bar (Moss Beach Distillery). Walk/bike to miles of cliff-side trails overlooking ocean. Boating/surfing within 10 minutes. 15 minutes to Half Moon Bay or Pacifica. 20 minutes to Purissima redwood forrest. Perfect getaway! The spot has water, electric; WIFI: Surfcottage; Password: Daniel25 A few minor restrictions: I'm in a residential neighborhood and to keep the neighbors from ragging I can't host a typical "campground scene". So we have to avoid cookouts, guitar jams all night, etc. Sorry! Only self-contained vans up to 23'.
