And not to worry, there is a decent driveway that will bring you within 100 feet of the campsite, a pickup or 4 wheel drive is not required. Spring has Sprung! The trees are blooming along with the wild flowers and the pond is full, an oasis for passing ducks and geese and other wildlife. Once you've established yourself enjoy a nice walk around the pond, cast a line off the pedal boat (catch and release), or enjoy a picnic on the island with the ducks and geese. Garden Valley River Access Campsite

The address to the house next door is 519 MiddleFork Rd, Garden Valley, ID 83622. That will get you to the property. The property is right after 519 it is a large open lot that leads down to the river. There is a black military vehicle parked on the very end close to the house. So there are two sections 1st is a flat section where you have plenty of room to set up tents and RVs. It is right off the road, and any car can get to the site with ease. The 2nd section is more wooded and has access to the river. You are welcome to tent camp here it is just getting an RV down there and out can be a challenge I don't recommend it. Also, the bridge across the river is the neighbors and so is the property across the river. There are roughly 4 campsites on the property but can camp where you want really. Large flat spot above the river that has access to the water. Half of the property is a flat spot for RV's and tents the 2nd half is more green, woody and has access to the river. There is a deeper spot in the river that is 3-4 feet deep and is perfect to lounge in during the hot parts of the summer. Please pack out what you pack in and keep the place nice for the next camper. Site Two is down in the trees on grass with it's own firepit and water. (A camper van or small pickup camper is ok on this site but no power. FREE FIREWOOD FOR BOTH SITES. Havenwood is 5.28 acres surrounded by farm land sitting at the top of a hill 50 miles west of Boise, Idaho. From our property you can view 15+ miles of the Snake River Valley. We are near the Oregon border and are just four miles from Interstate 84 and 3/4's mile from Highway 95. We are just 15 miles from the nearest winery and the beginning of the Snake River Valley wine country. Havenwood has a small forest of approximately 400 poplar trees in a park like setting with a couple acres of grass, fire pits, (with free firewood)--and quiet. Our property is host to many bird species including hawks, owls, quail, rabbits, and with occasional coyotes in the distance. We also host an Airbnb and are booked frequently with great guest reviews (five star rating). Near the freeway it is a wonderful place to take an overnite rest or more!

Close to National Forest, hiking, boating, fishing, mountain biking, hunting, birding and wildlife watching. Nestled among a nice recreating neighborhood, the sites have a fire pit for your use. Perfect for self-contained campers, bring water and whatever you need. Take it all out with you when you go. No restrooms, power, or water are available. A free sewer dump is located at West Mountain Campground 2 1/2 miles away. Well behaved pets allowed, please clean up after them. Quiet time after 10pm. Each site can accommodate up to 6 guests and 3 vehicles. A towed trailer is considered a vehicle. Plenty of room for your toys. If you have a larger group, consider reserving another site. There is a third overflow site that will be opened during peak times or as needed for large groups. Contact the host to reserve the whole campground for large groups, reunions, or weddings. Enjoy all Tamarack Resort has to offer, launch your boat at nearby Poison Creek Marina, and explore the quaint town of Donnelly.
