Situated in the heart of Oregon's extra-scenic South Coast, at the mouth of the Coquille River, Bandon offers an excellent mix of seafood restaurants and beaches as well as excellent opportunities for clamming and crabbing. It’s also Oregon's cranberry capital—visit in the fall to celebrate the fruit at the annual Bandon Cranberry Festival. The Bandon area also offers a solid mix of private and Oregon State Parks-run spots to park your RV for the night. Bullards Beach State Park is situated right in town and offers a mix of electrical sites and full-hookup sites that can be reserved up to six months in advance. Same-day sites at Bullards Beach Campground are occasionally available on a first-come, first-served basis. Other area state parks with RV sites include Cape Blanco—40 minutes south of Bandon—and Sunset Bay State Park—a half-hour drive north of town in Coos Bay.
