Cornerstone Ranch

8 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents500 acres · Gold Beach, OR
Cornerstone Ranch is a beautiful 500 acre property on the Rogue River, and bordering the Pacific Ocean. The ranch offers campsites, as well as a yurt. Horses are welcome, as well pets. From the South GPS is very accurate to our driveway. Coming from the North, GPS may drop you at "Marchmont Farm". Keep driving about another 1/8th mile until you see the large "Cornerstone Ranch" sign. That is our driveway. The large Yurt Tent about a 20 foot oval. It is part of the Cornerstone Ranch Hip Camp family of sites on the Ranch totaling 7. In a very quiet part of the campgrounds and having a picnic table under a large pine. We have added 2 twin memory foam mattresses and two camping mattresses in the Yurt along with a few other things to make your stay comfortable while still enjoying the Ranch, Coast and the Rogue River and all it has to offer. The ranch also offers 6 different campsites. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a toilet on site as well. Reviews from guests: "During the night we could hear Elk and the nearby nature! When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie the Host! She has tons of recommendations, but our favorite was the Indian creek cafe across the river. The areas so great and clean and the host cares about her guests! Would recommend!"

Welcome to Sunset Bay Meadows! We have several tent/RV sites, a yurt, and one group camping site. Once a dairy farm and part of the old Simpson estate our property offers mushroom picking seasonally whey you may find Chanterelle & Hedgehog mushrooms. We're close to the beach and the Sunset Bay Golf Course is on the same property. Lots of hiking trails and you can connect with Sunset Bay State Park our neighbor. We have a private, secluded campground that is wind sheltered with approximately 20 acres of space in which to use our covered table, picnic tables, fire pit, fire rings at individual campsites, BBQ, sauna and outdoor propane-fired shower. The camp area is tucked away among large spruce trees and open meadows which lead to endless trails on the property, with the option to buy a round of golf at Sunset Bay Golf Course, which is right next door to the camp area. We’re just short of a mile from Sunset Bay, where you will find kayaking, fishing and a great spot for kids. Fennel Flats - At The Orchard Hole

3 sites · RVs, Tents100 acres · Sixes, OR
Grassy mowed area along the Sixes River on our cattle ranch and cranberry farm. We provide an outdoor shower and composting toilet shared by the 3 camp sites. The shower water is filtered water from a shallow well, but bring water to drink. This campsite lies about 1 mile from the pacific ocean at about 15 feet elevation so it will be cooler than inland camp sites. I believe we are the closest camping to the south side of the Blacklock Hiking Trails. Also next to the Cape Blanco State Airport. (call if you want to fly in and get transport to and from the campsite). Access Road is a single lane in and out (gravel, dirt, and grass). Any towed trailers need to be pulled by a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to climb back out (in and out procedures for trailers will be provided) Bring a fishing pole or a kayak. Sea-run trout are in the river during the summer. Only friendly and quiet pets are allowed. (Note: Don't approach lone elk cows....they currently have calves and will be aggressive.)

Cow Creek Camp

1 site · RV, Tent140 acres · Riddle, OR
This is a remote property that has lots of "nature stuff" including the presence of poison oak and ticks.  The immediate area of the campsites is treated for poison oak, but there is a lot of it on the property once you are away from the river's edge.  Pets are likely to encounter it.  The ticks tend to have a couple seasons when they are more plentiful, typically the Spring and early Fall. Although we didn't see any in August and early September, they could be present any time.Currently no access for larger RVs.  Truck campers and camper vans can be accommodated.  If you have any kind of RV, check with us before booking.Cow Creek is a class 1 stream and a tributary to the South Umpqua River.  There is a dam at the headwaters of Cow creek which assures a consistent year-round flow of clean fresh water.  Steelhead and wild salmon runs have increased dramatically since the dam was built in about 1992.  The swimming is excellent, as the topography and lay of the land create a perfect private swimming hole.  The property encompasses both sides of the river for 3/4 of a mile.  Some of the land is steep and heavily forested.  There are a number of flatter meadows on benches as the property comprises a portion of the northern slope of Iron Mountain.Learn more about this land:Creekside camping beside the looong swimming hole on our 140 acre forest land. Located 11 miles from the Riddle Oregon exit on I-5, the Swimming, fishing, bird watching, hiking and stargazing are all fantastic. There is no electric power at all on the property. No cell service. THE TRAIN: You are almost certain to be woken in the wee hours of the morning during the work week of Monday thru Friday (approx. 5:00 a.m.) by the VERY LOUD and SCREECHING train on the other side of the creek. If you'll be okay with that, riverside paradise awaits!  Saturday and Sunday mornings, however, have been train-free.This is a remote property that has lots of "nature stuff" including the presence of poison oak and ticks.  The immediate area of the campsites is treated for poison oak, but there is a lot of it on the property once you are away from the river's edge.  Pets are likely to encounter it.  The ticks tend to have a couple seasons when they are more plentiful, typically the Spring and early Fall. 11 Mile River Camp

2 sites · RVs, Tents10 acres · Umpqua, OR
Welcome to the river! This beautiful 10 acre property is located on the scenic main Umpqua River. Enjoy excellent, year-round fishing, kayaking, and swimming right from your private and secluded campsite. Our property is located between 2 boat ramps which makes kayak, canoe, or raft floats a breeze. The property features beautiful, mature trees, fun bedrock to explore, and an amazing swimming hole (in the summertime when the river level is low enough). Sit at the river’s edge and enjoy the sounds of the water. Be sure to watch for soaring Eagles, jumping fish, and the occasional mink on the opposite river's edge! There are multiple wineries nearby and lots of hiking trails within a short drive. There is no cell service at the property - please plan ahead and check local burn ban policies before you go. The "owners area" camping spot is a large, graveled, gated area that has trees between the road and parking. There is a port-a-potty for use in the summer months. There is also a fire pit on the lower level overlooking the river, a hidden tree swing, and deck with picnic table. The "site 1" camping spot has a driveway that is hard-packed grass and is not gated. There is a small fire pit on the path by the river. There are areas under the trees both up top near the road and down near the path that are suitable for tents. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a fully manicured campground. There are bushes and grasses that grow year round. We do our best to keep things trimmed and accessible. Sometimes (especially in the spring) things grow more quickly than we can get to them. Please don't expect this to be a perfectly mowed, backyard-type site.
