MCF is situated 12 minutes NE of Shelton Washington with secluded wetlands nested against the SW shores of Spencer Lake. Covering over 124 acres MCF offers terrain from grassy fields to heavily wooded forests and an abundance of sanctuary wetlands. Being surrounded mostly by private timberlands expands the remote feeling this location has to offer. More than 3 miles of maintained trails deliver single track/ pedestrian/equine pathways to wider trails joined by a main trunk trail large enough for vehicles. Malaney Creek meanders through a cool grassy tree lined meadow where a 40 year old wooden bridge serving the main driveway can be viewed. Established in 1977 as a resident farm, MCF was once rich with an old growth ceder forest feeding a cedar mill and railroad built by early settlers of Mason County. Remnants of the old growth giants still remain.

Erosia is 13 acres of wooded lands and boasts a couple of truly unique features. We honor our trees, especially the one with the woman's figure in her trunk, her arms held up to the sky. We call our big leaf maple Blessing Tree "Ambrosia of Erosia". We also have a 45 ft memorial labyrinth we're still working on, but is walkable (3 times in and out is nearly a mile). We are 1 hour away from the ocean at Ocean Shores (near Aberdeen) where you can drive to and hang out on the beach, fly kites, book a fishing trip, etc. We are also about an hour away the other direction to Lake Cushman where one can swim or hike up to the Staircase area where you will enjoy old growth forests. It's only half an hour to drive to Olympia to enjoy all the foods, the state capital buildings with museums, an award winning Farmer's Market, etc. An hour gets you to Tacoma, and with good traffic Seattle is an easy day trip with southern locations accessible in an hour and half. It's 2 hours to Portland, if you go south. It's easy to say we're CENTRALLY LOCATED and most all of western Washington is accessible with a day trip. We are still developing our lands. Currently we DO NOT have potable water onsite. Please pack in all the water you need and use the swimming hole and/or our local YMCA for bathing needs. We do have an ADA portapot onsite for a toilet. We are working on putting both picnic tables on each campsite. If you need table(s) or chairs please ask as we are happy to lend if we do not have a big event happening where we need them. Each site offered here has a fire pit with a metal fire ring to sit around and roast marshmallows. We can provide fire wood or provide your own. Karl and Sarah run a business making spiritual tools and gifts from wood from their shop(s) on the Land so they are around most of the time to answer questions and get you settled in. (www.rareearthdesigns.net) Right now they are working out of temporary shops as they work on building the permanent shop building. (There is no loud building noises currently, though. It's quite peaceful upon the land of Erosia.) Our for-profit business, Rare Earth Designs, donates the engravings. This HipCamp site, though, is Sarah's personal business as she currently owns the biggest part of the Land and is basically the orchestra director of the Land as the "Lady of the Land". A tv with an assortment of dvds is available for evening entertainment as well. The pups are welcome to enjoy the cabin and two kennel runs that are accessible from inside the cabin. The cabin opens up to 2 acres of well maintained and fully fenced yard around the main house which is available for dogs to explore. A composting outhouse is just steps from all of the campsites and the cabin. Potable well water and a communal fire pit, with wood provided, are also available.

You might even be lucky enough to glimpse our local herd of elk that calls our small valley home, along with an assortment of other critters as well. FYI: There is a dog that lives on the property. While the sites are situated quite far from the house, he may visit. He is not dangerous and is very friendly. He loves people and other dogs. His name is Cooper.

Adam & Sara purchased the property in 2018 to preserve it. We enjoy sharing it with nature aficionados who respect the sacredness of the unblemished land and help us keep it pristine. From your mossy bank perched above the panoramic Pacific, beneath burley spruce tree boughs, magic sunsets unfold at your own super-private and secluded campsite with fire-pit. Adjacent to Olympic National Park, this is the same beach and bluff that defines Kalaloch, LaPush and and other wild Washington coastal icons. As the stewards of this land, we are now inviting respectful and responsible small groups and families to share its beauty. Without prior approval we allow only eight people per group— even when split between campsites. Please make sure to check the site *title* for number of campers allowed in each site. For example only two people are allowed in sites 1 and 4.

I was not sure what to expect staying on a horse ranch, but it was everything I could have hoped for and more. Kristy was an awesome host and there was one other group up by the rv pad, but we hardly saw them. Dogs were very friendly and Kristy let us use a propane fire-pit to provide warmth and a fire for our tent site. The bathrooms were clean and there was some water by our site, but we did not use it. The camp, for the tent site… we arrived and she drove us all over her property and told us to just choose where we wanted to camp. We chose to stay in back of the horse area. While we could see the house from there, we didn’t care and if you want to move back in the woods further, there are spots back there too that would provide more privacy if you need that. This is a great site and a one of a kind experience being that close to the horses."

This 40 Acre parcel has been in my family since the 1870's when my Great^4 grandparents homesteaded it. For the first 50 years or so, It was used as a hay field and cattle pasture, but it has been managed as a tree farm ever since and we are still doing periodic selective harvests. It was handed down through the paternal family to my Great Uncle, who passed away in 2013 and deeded it to my 2nd cousin in the will. My Dad and I bought it from my cousin, who lives in Arizona, together. Then my Wife and I bought my Dad out with our share of the profits from our first commercial thinning.Although I plan to do some minor harvesting in the future, I no longer intend to do any clearcutting. Selective harvests only. I hope that campers will make ample use of windfalls and other debris to keep the fire risk low. I also use the property as a release site for wildlife caught as part of my urban nuisance wildlife business.

Welcome to Aliya Preserve. Originally owned by the developers of Kalaloch Lodge, this was slated to be an expansion site for the resort. That development would have drastically changed the land. Adam & Sara purchased the property in 2018 to preserve it. We enjoy sharing it with nature aficionados who respect the sacredness of the unblemished land and help us keep it pristine. From your mossy bank perched above the panoramic Pacific, beneath burley spruce tree boughs, magic sunsets unfold at your own super-private and secluded campsite with fire-pit. Adjacent to Olympic National Park, this is the same beach and bluff that defines Kalaloch, LaPush and and other wild Washington coastal icons. As the stewards of this land, we are now inviting respectful and responsible small groups and families to share its beauty. Without prior approval we allow only eight people per group— even when split between campsites. Please make sure to check the site *title* for number of campers allowed in each site. For example only two people are allowed in sites 1 and 4.

Sunset View Campsites, Cabin

This is a property that has been in our family for over 55 years. It is at the end of a dead end road which ensures privacy and peace. It is a perfect place to unwind on the well maintained land while still being able to access the many outdoor activities nearby and explore the cool historic towns of Centralia and Chehalis as well. Learn more about this land: 2 sites in an open field and 1 site in the trees just 10 minutes from I-5, but a world away from the traffic. Perfect for tent camping and overnight rests in most any vehicle. Views of the Willapa Hills on a well maintained property. Guests are greeted upon arrival. Check in before dark is required. **New this season: We have transformed an old kennel into a cozy cabin! Sleep in comfort in a queen size bed and enjoy amenities like a cadet wall heater, microwave oven, Keurig coffee maker (with complimentary coffee, sweeteners and cream) and a wine cooler. A tv with an assortment of dvds is available for evening entertainment as well. The pups are welcome to enjoy the cabin and two kennel runs that are accessible from inside the cabin. The cabin opens up to 2 acres of well maintained and fully fenced yard around the main house which is available for dogs to explore. A composting outhouse is just steps from all of the campsites and the cabin. Potable well water and a communal fire pit, with wood provided, are also available.

Erosia Land Sanctuary

Erosia is 13 acres of wooded lands and boasts a couple of truly unique features. We honor our trees, especially the one with the woman's figure in her trunk, her arms held up to the sky. We call our big leaf maple Blessing Tree "Ambrosia of Erosia". We also have a 45 ft memorial labyrinth we're still working on, but is walkable (3 times in and out is nearly a mile). We are 1 hour away from the ocean at Ocean Shores (near Aberdeen) where you can drive to and hang out on the beach, fly kites, book a fishing trip, etc. We are also about an hour away the other direction to Lake Cushman where one can swim or hike up to the Staircase area where you will enjoy old growth forests. It's only half an hour to drive to Olympia to enjoy all the foods, the state capital buildings with museums, an award winning Farmer's Market, etc. An hour gets you to Tacoma, and with good traffic Seattle is an easy day trip with southern locations accessible in an hour and half. It's 2 hours to Portland, if you go south. It's easy to say we're CENTRALLY LOCATED and most all of western Washington is accessible with a day trip. We are still developing our lands. Currently we DO NOT have potable water onsite. Please pack in all the water you need and use the swimming hole and/or our local YMCA for bathing needs. We do have an ADA portapot onsite for a toilet. We are working on putting both picnic tables on each campsite. If you need table(s) or chairs please ask as we are happy to lend if we do not have a big event happening where we need them. Each site offered here has a fire pit with a metal fire ring to sit around and roast marshmallows. We can provide fire wood or provide your own. Karl and Sarah run a business making spiritual tools and gifts from wood from their shop(s) on the Land so they are around most of the time to answer questions and get you settled in. (www.rareearthdesigns.net) Right now they are working out of temporary shops as they work on building the permanent shop building. (There is no loud building noises currently, though. It's quite peaceful upon the land of Erosia.) More on our structure: The service-side of our Land Sanctuary is organized as a non-profit and donations to the creation and/or caretaking of the labyrinth over $50 we gift a memorial brick one can set in the labyrinth. Our for-profit business, Rare Earth Designs, donates the engravings. We will eventually have a retaining wall that can be used for seating and the labyrinth will be available to rent for weddings, memorial services and other ceremonies as well as regular walking meditations. This HipCamp site, though, is Sarah's personal business as she currently owns the biggest part of the Land and is basically the orchestra director of the Land as the "Lady of the Land". We're still growing and developing the Land, our Services and our shop and would love to show you what we are working to create.

Fisherman’s Lair on the Willapa

Trails for walking, hiking and biking. Launch kayak on the property or boat launch (close by) to explore 2 rivers , North fork and south fork of The Willapa River. Secluded and primitive yet very close to all amenities. Dry camping for tents and spaces for RV's. No electric or water hook ups. Porta-Potty on property. This is a new campground just opening. If your in an Rv or trailer there is numbered spaces at the front of the property. Although the whole property is open to explore and tent camp, the road is to tight with trees for anything bigger than a compact car

Our property is 60 acres of idyllic Pacific Northwest wilderness. Located just a few miles from the Columbia river, enjoy a private, serene valley all to yourself! You might even be lucky enough to glimpse our local herd of elk that calls our small valley home, along with an assortment of other critters as well. FYI: There is a dog that lives on the property. Malaney Creek Farm

MCF is situated 12 minutes NE of Shelton Washington with secluded wetlands nested against the SW shores of Spencer Lake. Covering over 124 acres MCF offers terrain from grassy fields to heavily wooded forests and an abundance of sanctuary wetlands. Being surrounded mostly by private timberlands expands the remote feeling this location has to offer. More than 3 miles of maintained trails deliver single track/ pedestrian/equine pathways to wider trails joined by a main trunk trail large enough for vehicles. Malaney Creek meanders through a cool grassy tree lined meadow where a 40 year old wooden bridge serving the main driveway can be viewed. Established in 1977 as a resident farm, MCF was once rich with an old growth ceder forest feeding a cedar mill and railroad built by early settlers of Mason County. Remnants of the old growth giants still remain.
