ABH developed BaseCamp and is feverishly working to breathe life into our downtown square. You will find a coffee shop, candy store, a Bruncherie, microbrewery and nightlife. We are grateful for your support of our efforts through your visit to Humboldt. Base Camp is a 21 acre modern glampground + RV Park, trailhead, and bike park located in Humboldt. We have beautiful tiny home cabins, mini A-frames and full service pull-through RV hookups. Located in Humboldt, KS at the trailhead to the Southwind rails-to- trails. Base Camp features a quarry pond for fishing and small watercrafts, large open fields for recreation and a bike skills course perfect for beginners and seasoned riders alike. Currently, we do not offer tent camping - coming soon! Our RV spots are located in our paved parking lot. Each rental includes water, 30 and 50 amp electric and sewer hookups.

It does include Water, Sewer and Electric Site #4 is a Full Service RV site is to the left of site 3. It is a back in spot facing the rock garden. It does include Water, Sewer and Electric Site #5 Bath House - 2 potties available to everyone on site. Cabin 9 Sunflower cabin, sleeps 6 www.SplitRockCamp.com to reserve. YOU MUST RIDE YOUR BICYCLE TO THE CAMPSITE. This is a campsite specifically for gravel bicycle travelers. There is NO PLACE to park a vehicle. A truly unique camping and cycling experience. Sleep in a rustic tiny home and experience the wide open Flint Hills. The tiny home (affectionately called Maud) is parked along the tree line of Little Cedar Creek in Chase County. The exact location is provided upon reservation. Maud has camp style cots in a bunk bed arrangement, a 5 gallon container of drinking water, a composting toilet, and a coleman stove. CAMPFIRES ARE NOT ALLOWED---EVER. There is a solar system with lights and a charging station. We don't guarantee the battery level. You should bring everything you will need--bedding, food, lights, matches (for the stove). What you pack in, you pack out--we don't have trash service out there. You empty the toilet's liquids bucket, we will take care of emptying the solids. Instructions provided at the trailer. It is approximately a quarter mile Hike a Bike from the road to the trailer. Vehicle parking is available in Matfield Green, specific instructions provided upon reservation.

The property features more than 50 acres of beautiful pasture and meadows, along with tree lines, 2 ponds, and orchard in the making. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Tons of birds, butterflies, and other wildlife. Our market farm produces a range of organically grown fruits and vegetables and will be adding pasture raised chickens and eggs soon. Walk through the property and see our many pollinator habitats and permanent plantings - see zebra, tiger, and eastern swallowtail butterflies, many types of bees, and more. We live and work with intention to create sustainable habitats for all wildlife and see an abundance of hawks and owls, swallows and kites, lizards, toads, frogs, spiders, and everything you would imagine seeing in nature. This vast, man-made lake is a mile at it’s widest point, and stretches 15 miles up the beautiful Fall River.
