Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next Twin Harbors State Park adventure.
Discover the coastal charm of Twin Harbors State Park.
Twin Harbors State Park lies just four miles south of Westhaven on the Pacific coastline. Most of the action on these 172-acres is at the beach where you’ll see visitors enjoying beachcombing, clamming, diving, kite flying, and surf fishing. Just make sure to pick up a recreational fishing license that is required at all Washington State Parks. If you’d rather just max out and relax all cool, you can always toss horseshoes around over a brewski or make the half mile trek along Shifting Sands Trail, leading you into a shore pine forest. There are plenty of places to camp camp including tents, trailers, even yurts!
The best time to visit Twin Harbors State Park is during the summer months when the weather is warm and the days are long. However, for those seeking solitude, the off-season offers a peaceful retreat. Be mindful of the burn bans and beach conditions that can affect your visit.
