Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Family owned sites that offer a private view of the Colorado mountains and peaceful campsites. Walking trails and medicine wheel are on site to explore. This is a private campsite for small or medium sized groups.Heart Stone Campsite is a roughly flat high desert camp site over looking "The Sangre de Cristo Mountains" perfect for a relaxing, quiet, private get away for the family or friends. Guests can enjoy campfires and hiking. Within a 30-45min radius there is white water rafting, helicopter rides, royal gorge tours and much more. Other campsites are available in the area, depending on bookings, other guests may be visible. This is a rustic campsite. No running water is available. Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them. Pack it in, pack it out.

Cozy Mountain Getaway

Elaine’s cozy space was perfect for a weekend getaway into the mountains! We loved the wood burning stove in the cabin and it kept us very warm despite it being a very cold night! The views are spectacular, and it was incredibly peaceful and quiet. Elaine was very communicative and accommodating, and felt comfortable during our stay. We will definitely return to this spot in the future and appreciate all the thoughtfulness that has been put into this site! :)
