We have about 40 acres and trails through the area for exploring. You just may come across some "forts" constructed by some of our grandchildren. There is a large fire pit and plenty of firewood for a minimal cost. (Trash can full. ) If you listen in the evening, you are likely able to hear a couple of owls talking back and forth. Usually you can see some deer and maybe some turkeys. There are many old pines around the property, the last remnants of our Christmas tree farm.
There is no electricity in the cabin, but we do have two solar lights and some battery lights. If it's been rainy, the solar won't work as well.
We have cornhole game available upon request and some table games kept in cabin. If you want to go biking, there is a trail in town, about 5 miles away. The cabin has two futons, one is full-size, and the other is queen size. There is a table and chairs and shelves for kitchen storage, limited pots, pans and utensils available. Campstove is available, for outside use only. At present, there is no heat source inside. There is an outhouse. If more than four people in your group, there are several spots where a tent can be placed. At this time we are not furnishing any bedding. Water will be supplied in 2 seven gallon jugs, with spouts. Firewood will also be available for a minimal cost. Additional water will be furnished when needed There is a 30-inch grill grate to place over the fire pit and several chairs.
