We stayed at Bundo's cabin two years two years ago and loved it, and eagerly looked forward to going back. We reserved two days, and came up. However I had the wrong combination for the lock box-a message came to me, but i couldn't find it again two days later.. Was it from the hip camp website? I tried to get a hold of Jon, but he was in transit. We started for home. Jon did text us back with the correct lock box code, but we were too close to home. He offered us our money back, and we accepted.
We were saddened... somehow it wasn't clear how to get the information. I am not a digital native, and am as fluent with technology. I am not assigning blame: I need to improve my tech skills, but I think that Hip Camp could consider how to work with seniors. Perhaps the host could have an alternate person to contact when he needs to be in transit. Well, best of luck to all of you. Not sure if we are going to try hip camp again. Perhaps we are not the intended audience.
