This property has been a farm and ranch since 1863 it was used as a stage stop for travelers going to the gold fields in Bannock and Virginia City Montana. Come check us out. We offer two private campsites on the Gallatin River near Logan, Montana, 1/4 mile apart on a working farm and ranch. Ranch also is located below ATT and Verizon cell towers. Five minutes from entrance gate to interstate ninety. We are thirty minutes from Bozeman, six miles from Three Forks, MT, three miles from Headwaters State Park (Headwaters of the Missouri River), 12 minutes from the Copper City Mountain biking trails, 20 minutes from Lewis and Clark Caverns, eight miles from Madison Buffalo Jump. Yellowstone National Park is two hours south of the property.  Easy full recreational access to the Gallatin River, including fishing if you follow Montana FWP rules and regulations. Gallatin River is a blue-ribbon trout stream and there are four additional blue-ribbon trout streams that are within close proximity. Inhabited by most major indigenous species of Montana, except bison and mountain goats.  This is a working farm and ranch and equipment and activities related to the operation should be expected also a train runs close to property. Loved camping at Roger's place. It was beautiful and secluded. Just what we wanted. My husband was hoping to fish but the waters were up due to the snow melt.

An awesome scenic spot close to the river and with a stunning view on the mountains. Roger was a great host and provided lots of valuable information. Note that there is a shooting range close by so you will hear it and freight trains pass by across the river. For us it made the scenery and picture complete :-)

Gorgeous property. Roger was prompt in responding on Hip Camp. He guided me in and out of the campsite. The dog loved running around the property. Great place to stay in between long hauls.

Beautiful, private spot on river
Beautiful, spacious spot on the river. Felt very private. Roger was super friendly and led us right to the campsite. Our dogs enjoyed swimming/ exploring. Our kids loved playing at the river. Taught our 5 yo how to cast and our 2yo really enjoyed the train. Able to ride our bikes around. Short drive to Buffalo Jump State Park which was a perfect jaunt for our little kids. We had a great time and highly recommend camping here!

Boondocked in my camp trailer on Rogers property while working in Bozeman for the week. Very peaceful, private and relaxing spot! Close to Highway but far enough away that you don’t hear it. Loved having the river so close! Planning to come back again later on in middle of summer. Thanks Roger!

Great spot nice host was very cordial the campsite there’s three of them. I was in Sight number one right near the Gallatin could’ve gone fishing any second. It took no more than a minute and a half to walk to the river for my camp..Great spot nice host was very cordial the campsite there’s three of them.
