Wandering Pines is a little slice of magic in the Great North Woods of New Hampshire. Our sites are large, private and offer field or wooded land. The sites are near our Small House on 5 acres but far enough away to feel private. We currently have 5 sites; 1 glamping site(opening soon) 1 large campsite, 2 primitive sites and 2 park and sleep sites. While the weather is changing, snow is melting and mud is present, some of our sites may not be available. Please message me before booking. We have a ton of space and can accommodate you somewhere!
During the warmer months(Late March-Early December) all the sites have access to water and a primitive outhouse and handwashing/dishwashing station. All sites except the primitive sites have access to electricity. Firewood can be purchased.
We have wetlands and overgrown fields so there may be bugs and other animals at any given time. Bug spray is recommended.
Although black bears are generally shy and usually avoid humans, they are opportunistic and will search for human food supplies when natural foods are not available. Maintaining a sustainable bear population in New Hampshire depends on minimizing human-bear conflicts. It is illegal to intentionally feed bears in New Hampshire. Intentional feeding can create problems within residential areas and can result in fines. It also may threaten the life of the bear, if it becomes a nuisance animal as a result of this feeding. Please keep your food in your car when you are not at the site and when you are sleeping.
The property has views of Mount Martha and the Presidential Mountain Range. There are easy walking trails throughout the property. There is a field to play games; Soccer, wiffle ball, corn hole and yard croquet can be used. Just ask
We are within 25 mins of Lancaster, Jefferson, Littleton, and Bethlehem. Small town bars, restaurants, breweries and one of a kind views of mountains, lakes, rivers and wildlife. There is hiking galore and more than enough to do for all ages.
