Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Off-leash friendly
Pets can be off-leash at some sites.
A cleared grass/gravel paddock close to everything Maroochydore, Coolum and the Sunshine Coast has to offer! Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent.
We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit).
We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out.
Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions!
To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes:
Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. These can cause damage to vehicles and you will need a tow truck to be recovered.
Bring your pets, please keep them close as we have no fences.
This campsite on the Sunshine Coast offers a peaceful retreat with plenty of wildlife, including kangaroos and birds. Guests appreciate the quiet, spacious sites that provide a sense of seclusion while still being close to local attractions like beaches and shops. Although some visitors noted the motorway noise and presence of mosquitoes, the overall experience is positive, with many enjoying the natural surroundings and easy access to amenities. It's a great base for exploring the area, with a friendly atmosphere and helpful hosts.
Great camp to use as a base to explore the Sunny Coast. Much quieter than a caravan park. The campground was covered with kangaroos each afternoon which was so lovely. Will definitely come back.
Location is in the heart of the Sunshine Coast but you get your own private open space where you feel far away from civilisation.
We were also glad to have gravel beneath our van in the rain.
A great place to camp on the Sunshine Coast. We stayed 3 nights and it was close to Maroochydore River and we could see Mount Coolum from our site. Kangaroos visiting during the day and lots of bird life - such a peaceful place.
