This is a great spot. We had Site 1. A nice flat site with a line of She Oaks behind us giving protection from the winds. It gives easy access to the Turtle Trail for walks and if you have a bike, riding. I highly recommend Mon Repos Pines.

We loved our stay. The location was perfect for access to Mon Repos Turtle Centre and the bike path so close was a bonus. Rides to Bargara and down to Coral Cove and North to Burnett Heads. Fantastic. The site was well maintained and level for our Van and so quiet. The stars at night. Wow. We will definitely be coming back. Thank You Karen

Karen's land is awesome, we loved our 2 nights @ Site 1. We chose it for its proximity to the cycle/pathway between Burnett Heads and Bargara - we cycled for miles and loved exploring the area. When we were at our campervan, we could see the odd person/group walking and cycling, but could rarely hear them, and it didn't distract from our enjoyment. We could hear the ocean, and it was incredibly peaceful at night - we were the only ones there the first night. The ground became quite wet after heavy rain and thunderstorms on our last night, but there is a drainage ditch that takes the water away, so we were able to get out in our 2WD without any issues. Karen popped over to check on us after our arrival, which is always nice. Plenty of shade first thing in the morning - you need your own for later in the day when the sun is coming from a different direction. Would highly recommend this site and we'll definitely be back. Thanks Karen!

Great location right on the walking\bike path and just a few km’s to Bargara shops and restaurants. Very peaceful and quiet. It is was perfect for a quick stopover… and we even had the luck of seeing a turtle laying her eggs at Mon Repos!
