Welcome to Safe Haven Campground, perfect for individuals, couples and groups of all sizes. An open site offers plenty of space and is designed to provide a peaceful retreat. Just 30 meters from the pristine waters of Kilcoy Creek, you’ll find several swimming holes with crystal clear water, perfect for a refreshing dip. Platypus have also been sighted here! Our semi-shaded, flat sites are ideal for tents, rooftop campers, small caravans, and RVs. Guests MUST bring their own toilet facilities. Conveniently located, we are only a 5-minute drive from the charming Crystal Water Cafe, which is open 7 days a week for tea, coffee, cake, and meals. They also have free public wifi if you require stable internet access. Access to the campsite is easy via a bridge over the creek. While you relax, enjoy sightings of local kangaroos, wallabies, and a variety of tropical birds. We look forward to welcoming you to Safe Haven Camp for a serene and enjoyable outdoor experience. Please note that our campsite is for adults only, and no children are permitted due to farm-related risks. We also have a strict no-drone policy

Lovely spot surrounded by cattle and kangaroos. We were lucky to have it all by ourselves. We definitely will be back.

What a beautiful spot. Crystal clear creek perfect for swimming. Our dogs absolutely loved the time we spent here. Only a 20 minute (very scenic) drive in to Maleny. We woke up on our last day with a flat battery but the caretaker helped us out and let us connect to their WiFi to organise roadside assist as the phone reception was very patchy. Will definitely be back :)

The creek was amazing but the grass wasn't mowed, ticks and no firewood when sign saying firewood for sale. A little better maintenance and organisation would have made our trip more enjoyable, would probably go again if the camp-site looked like the pictures on the Hipcamp app.

Beautiful, peaceful spot in nature to unwind. Creek is gorgeous. Saw fireflies and luminescent mushroom, wildlife, shadey and fairly private camp-site. So greatful. Thank you.

We had a lovely, peaceful time on Glenda’s property! There was no one at the site next to us so it felt very private. Because of the rain the creek was deep enough for a swim which we had to ourselves. Easy to find and a short drive to the crystal waters cafe. Very little/sporadic reception with Telstra. Lots of wildlife incl kangaroos (and a couple tics).
