Woodford is a little taste of country right on the city’s doorstep. An easy day trip from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast, this quaint and quiet town is a perfect getaway destination with a little something for everyone.
The Woodford region is steeped in history and retains much of its yesteryear charm. The historic pub still stands proudly on the main road through town, while quaint turn-of-the-century buildings house quirky shops and eateries.
Was a warm relaxed vibe greeted by the girls. Very friendly and made us feel very comfortable, the stay was private and in the morning greeted by at least 10 beautiful horses which my son was going crazy over.
Definitely recommend this stay
Great spot to just chill out. Very private and surrounded by lots of beautiful pine trees and melaleuca trees. The horses were there to greet me when I arrived and were very friendly. Plenty of kindling wood around the place also which was a bonus. I went for short walks following the horse tracks but when the horse tracks ran out you had to be careful not to get lost in the forest lol
Beautiful butterfly’s everywhere too which was enchanting and also had a visit from a lone wallaby!
Absolutely stunning stay, horses galore lol, my 6 year old daughter loved Patting the hourse every morning and evening and seeing them out the window when she woke up. Robert is nice as and very welcoming, i have stayed at other places (as I live in a caravan) and I would absolutely recommend for anyone travelling through to stay a few nights here. Absolutely amazing!!!!!
Lovely location, open flat site. Co-pilot a great site for maximum 3 vans or campers. Nice and close to Woodford as well.
Easy access and Robert was a great help!
It’s our second time to this place and we will definitely be back.
