Located on picturesque Blackall Range Road, Woombye on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Ideally suited for self contained campers, offering complete privacy, in natural rainforest setting with lots of native birds and little wallabies and a night sky full of stars. The site is accessed by vehicle (4WD recommended, especially in wet conditions) on a 700 metre bush track, with a variety of camping options - including swags/tents and off-road caravans. Guests have their own exclusive camping area with fire pit, hammocks and fresh water streams. As we are nestled in the rainforest, phone reception can vary, which is perfect for stepping away from day to day life (but it is possible to head back to the entrance to pick up better coverage) The area offers a variety of nature walks and only 10 minutes to town of Woombye, Palmwoods, Montville, Hinterland National Parks and also convenient access to the many beaches and attractions on the coast.Stunning rainforest with seasonal running creek and waterfall on private property, nestled in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Guests have their own exclusive camping area with fire pit. Plenty of space to pitch tents and also suitable for camp trailers. Pets very welcome. The dam is approx 300 metres from the campsite and has a paddle boat guests can also use, or enjoy a drink from the deck chairs. Don't forget some boots to go exploring all the tracks, streams and forest. Perfect for a couples getaway or family gathering. Site is accessed by vehicle (4WD recommended) on a well maintained bush track. Please get in touch if you’d like to make an enquiry before booking. I’d love to tell you more about this hidden gem Jacqui x

Camping with BorderCollies.
Tent · With pets
Had a wonderful time. Host was the best. Weather wasn't what we were hoping for but that can't be helped. Our BorderCollies loved the creeks and having plenty of room to run and explore. It is definitely a place we hope to return and tell friends about.

Fantastic Camp
Tent · With pets
The camp is completely private. My parents and dogs had an amazing time, with the creek at your doorstep. I loved how Jacqui did anything she could to make sure we were happy.

Your own private fairy garden
Tent
Magical spot! So private but close by. As a Sunshine Coast local it was so convenient and yet felt like the middle of our own private forest. Set up with tables, water, gazebo, stream, separate picnic areas, and a great spot for swimming. The fairy lights and tiny flowers all over the meadow made the whole place come alive with magic. Relaxing in the hammock while the sunset filtered through the trees, and swimming in the waterhole with water cascading down the rocks was my personal favourites. Jacqui even had little supplies to make the stay more comfortable. Thank you so much. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Best spot we have been to!
Tent · Group trip
Could not have asked for a better place to camp. We can't wait to come back. Jacqui (the host) is so lovely, and her attention to detail in ensuring the spot way clean and ready for us (including a fire!) was incredible. The photos don't do it justice. While there is no reception at the camp area- that disconnection from the outside world was exactly what we needed.

What a fantastic part of the hinterland!!!! Jacqui, is a wonderful host - very happy and helpful. Woombye Rainforest retreat is the perfect place to get away and unplug from the rest of the world. As suggested, it is a very private camp site. The creek, the birds, the butterflies - I could go on & on, but we think you best make a booking experience the serenity for yourself. We will be back, but with our greyhound next time. Thank you for having us. Mark & Jan
