Nestled deep within the pristine embrace of an ancient holler in the heart of the Appalachians, lies a rustic yet enchanting campsite on an organic farm. The holler, a natural valley between rolling hills and lush foliage, is a place untouched by modernization, where the symphony of nature's harmonious notes takes center stage.
Upon arriving at the campsite, you're immediately greeted by the earthy aroma of fertile soil and the sweet perfume of wildflowers that paint the landscape in vibrant hues. The campsite is tucked behind a rustic red barn on the only piece of flat land in these rolling hills.
The sounds of the holler at night are a mesmerizing symphony: the gentle babbling of a nearby creek, the serenading crickets, the occasional hoot of an owl, and the rustling leaves that whisper secrets in the breeze. Fireflies flicker like stars, providing a natural light show that compliments the twinkling celestial bodies above.
One of the highlights of this campsite is its connection to the regenerative farm. Campers can participate in farm-to-table experiences, taking part in harvesting fresh produce, collecting eggs from free-range chickens, or learning about regenerative farming practices from the dedicated farmers who call this land home.
For those seeking adventure beyond the campsite, there are nearby woods for walking and a hidden waterfall a short drive away.
In this campsite on an organic farm in a pristine holler of the Appalachians, the modern world fades into the background, allowing the beauty of the natural world to take center stage. It's a place where tranquility, community, and the wonders of nature intertwine, leaving a lasting impression on all who have the privilege to experience it.Harvest Table Farm is a full time farm to market operation and as such guests are expected to make their own adventure. Erin and Jonny have a lovely farm. I am car camping so the area. I was able to spend the night was perfect for my needs. Jonny was helpful and welcoming, as was their sweet Newfie dog. It was a joy to be there and I hope to return.
