Welcome to the Sea Star~ a cozy yurt you'll find bright, rustic, and well-kept in a rural Northwest neighborhood 5 miles from maritime Port Townsend. Yurts are round sturdy canvas structures. Ours has a full kitchen, queen sized bed, indoor powder room, attached shower room and private deck in a naturally wooded setting. Free of streetlights to enjoy stargazing and moonlight. Pets welcome. The space is not suitable for small children or infants. Your hosts, Mark and Sara, live on the property.You'll notice as you turn on to our gravel road a large duck pond and a 10-acre meadow, reaching the wooded area where the Sea Star is tucked in. Expect some daytime noise typical of a rural neighborhood such as farm animals, machinery, small aircraft, and highway traffic. Seasonally there are owls and coyote living here with sounds that can be alarming until you know what it is. We're just 5 miles away from Port Townsend where you'll find a vibrant nightlife, art events, festivals, a working seaport, and excellent restaurants.
