We are a small bar and grill 12 miles west of Crivitz WI. Conveniently located right on the ATV and Snowmobile trails. There are plenty of lakes and steams for the avid fisherman. We are located just a few miles east of the Nicolet National Forest. We have great food and always a friendly atmosphere. So come on up and join us for a relaxing week or just a weekend.Camp in our nicely furnished tent cabins, Site #1 ( Bri's Hideaway) is furnished with a queen bed, love seat and refrigerator. Site #2 ( Adam's Getaway ) is furnished with a full bed, 1 cot style bunk beds and a refrigerator. We recommend bringing sleeping bags for both sites during the cool weather camping, we furnish some blankets but may not be adequate for the chilly nights in the later season. We are right on the ATV trails, with many lakes, rivers and trout streams close by. There is whitewater rafting nearby for the trill seekers. Or if you enjoy hiking, the Nichole National Forest is minutes away. You can relax on the front deck of your tent cabin or sit by the campfire. We are a small country bar & grill. We have a great Friday night fish fry, or try our famous chicken dinner, or one of our homemade pizzas, we have wraps, sandwiches and more. We are located 1 hour north of Green Bay, WI. The tent cabins will be open May 1st through October 31st with a shower room available. There is limited heating available in the units. Please plan accordingly. Due to the somewhat limited internet access at the camp sites, we may be unable to respond in a timely fashion to your email.

Learn more about this land: Cabin on lake with no public access. Camper/RV with large deck on same lake approximately 1200 feet away. Another camper in grassy clearing within the forest, approximately 600 feet away from lake. Owner's home is out of sight and sound 1/4 mile away. Pasture and forest property borders 2500 feet of private lake front. Property also borders the Hiawatha National Forest. Great pike fishing on shallow lake with access to 10' jon boats with oars and single seat kayaks. Life vests available. Cabin is one open room with bunk beds that sleep 4 plus a full size futon. Cooking and dish water is provided by hanging 7 gallon jug over kitchen sinks. No indoor toilets, outhouse available at all three sites. Gas cooking stove and wood burning stove/oven for heat and cooking. Battery powered electric lights. Wood burning interior stove and sauna at cabin. Campers have no interior heat. Water, box of firewood, pots and pans, and utensils provided. Bring food, ice, and drinking water. Bring charcoal and lighter fluid if you want to use small grills outside. Dogs are welcome just not on beds or futon :)

My hopes are that visitors enjoy all aspects of my property as much as I do. Learn more about this land: You can choose to set up camp in the meadow or near the gardens. In the meadow you will find paths that you can stroll through throughout the property where you can you bird watch and observe Wisconsin's natural prairie and vegetation. The open field area provides more room whether it's to throw a frisbee, bask in the sun or play some competitive yard games with your family and friends. Regardless of where you set up camp, you can enjoy your morning coffee in the secret flower garden or a nightcap next to the fire under the grape covered arbor while watching the night stars. Feeling adventurous? The Ahnapee trail is an old railroad trail that is now a hiking and biking path that extends from Sturgeon Bay to Kewaunee. The Ahnapee Trail is 1.5 miles down the road. Also located within miles is the Ahnapee River, which is ideal for canoeing and kayaking.

Dancing Deer Acres is carved out of a larger forested area, and adjacent to fields of upland prairie all in its natural state. Our campers are welcome to come over to Blazing Bear Homestead to see our herd of Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats and shop in the farm stand. Just 7 minutes away in the City of Peshtigo is Badger Park where you can swim, picnic, play volleyball, or enjoy the skate park; all for FREE! There is also a fenced horseshoe pit, brand new modern playground, and a disc golf course. The areas above and below the dam in Peshtigo are popular fishing spots that contain warm water fish populations of northern pike, walleye, large mouth bass and pan fish. In recent years the area below the dam has become a popular brown and rainbow trout fishing area. The Peshtigo Harbor boat launch is just an 8 minute drive away! This area offers a vibrant, rural community full of friendly people. There are a wide variety of outdoor activities within close reach. Opportunities for camping, boating, fishing, and sightseeing added to tours of our many area museums will make your stay as relaxing, informative, or invigorating as you choose it to be. I have a place to rest for a couple nights, there is a small non motorized lake across the road. Dunbar is not to far away and there you can find Thermal Chaos, it's a great bbq place, they also have burgers. I am also right on the atv trail. Marinette country has many waterfalls to explore also. Please follow the golden rule of camping and hiking is “leave no trace.” Anything you bring in, must be carried out. Please pack your waste, trash and recyclables, and take it with you when you leave. You may use dead and downed wood as firewood, but do not cut live trees or brush. Keep fires small and make sure your campfire is out before you leave. I hope you have a great time!

This is equipped with a queen bed a bunk with full over twin fridge microwave toaster coffee maker AC and Heat dining table firepit and picnic table on the outside. Spend the day in the woods relaxing, take your boat or kayaks to a near by lake. Cookout, or go to eat at Romy’s Holiday Inn or the Klondike Saloon or stop at Joe’s for an Ice Cream. Our property offers a variety of activities. We welcome horses (with recent coggings) ATV, bicycles and UTVs. You will be able to access the county ATV and UTV trails. (UTVs will not be allowed on our trails) We offer private trails on our property for a short ride, we asked that our guest are considerate of our family and other campers. ATV riding and horseback riding on our property with waiver form and authorization. With a lot of ground you can choose from rolling your tent, hammock, RV or stay at our primitive tiny home. All fires will be contained and in designated area only. We follow Oconto County DNR fire guidelines.
