    Great location for Tamworth Country Music Festival, walk or cycle into Tamworth CBD. 20 acres on the Peel River. Campsites are not on the river about a 400m walk to the river via a laneway. We have a couple of horses, a few chooks and lots of avian wildlife live on the property. Peaceful and with abundant trees. Hot water shower, flushing toilet and 10 amp power available. Good access for caravans and all types of vehicles. Dogs or other pets not accepted. No campfires, total fire bans often in place here.

All campers to Fairfield must be completely self-sufficient, with their own camp toilet and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go.

Bottom and top dam campsites with access to toilets showers and fresh water. The Pergola This is our most popular site located 2km from the farm house. Featuring a covered dinning area with magical views looking over Swamp Oak Creek, only a few metres from your kitchen we have our custom made fire pit with a selection of cooking methods for those hearty meals, secluded swimming holes reserved for this site and your own compost toilet. Due to this site being kilometers from anyone it is perfect for the relaxing get away without coming in contact with a sole. NOTE: 4WD DRIVE ACCESS ONLY NO FRESH WATER Top Dam - Site 1 Nestled among the trees on the top side of our 3 acre dam this amazing location has another of our custom fire pits for those nights around the fire and also features various accessories for different cooking styles. Enjoy a swim in the dam or a relaxing afternoon of kayaking then cast in the fishing line and try your skills at reeling in one of our rainbow trout or silver perch, you can even throw out a yabby net to catch a few yabbies. Why not spend an hour or two stolling around the various walks we have on offer, or join us for the afternoon feeding of our petting animals. This site has access to rain water, shower and toilet. NOTE: PRE APPROVAL FOR WATER ACTIVIES MUST BE OBTAINED BEFORE ARRIVAL Bottom Dam - Site 2 This site is located on the lower side of our 3 acre dam this great location has another of our custom fire pits for those nights around the fire and also features the same accessories for different cooking styles.     Our property is an operating farm with cattle and horses. Native wildlife and vegetation, wooded and cleared areas, dams, a waterfall and running creek in wetter seasons, hilly and undulating paddocks. Wedge-tail eagles, owls, cockatoos and galahs, kangaroos and echidnas are all regular visitors here. This is an appreciation of the Australian bush and primary production scenery. Each of our sites are completely private from each other, from our homestead and from neighbours. From your site take in views of the valley dotted with crops and grazing stock. Pot some yabbies, cool off in a dam, keep your eyes peeled for snakes and echidnas. Explore local areas such as Nundle (45 minutes to gold panning and the Woollen Mill) and Currabubula (30 minutes to the Curra pub), visit Goonoo Goonoo Station (magnificently restored and renovated historic sheep and cattle station now also an event centre and restaurant) and Dungowan Brewery (30 minutes to remodelled shearing-shed-come-restaurant and farm animal zoo). Church on Sundays is at St Lukes at 9:00am (7 minutes to local evangelical Anglican and morning tea is served). Four wheel drive access only. Maximum speed 20kms per hour. No power. No running water. No amenities. Please bring your own waste management which can be deposited to the green lid bin at the front gate. Campfires strictly only between 1 July and 1 September and never on a windy day.

    Roma Orchard was a great spot! Nice level sites overlooking the river with onsite fire pits. The cows and alpacas were a hit with the kids, and the apple orchard and vineyards were fun to explore. Steven was a great host, sharing local knowledge and stopping by each day to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommend Roma Orchard to anyone travelling through the area.

    We had a wonderful stay in the spacious and comfortable bell tent. The campfire and stargazing at night made it extra special. We loved the company of the two friendly dogs, and the facilities were excellent – clean toilets and a refreshing rainwater shower. A truly memorable and relaxing experience!

    Mal was a great host and took us to a secluded camp site with amazing views of the cliffs and a massive wild olive tree. It felt like you were all by yourself and a million miles away from everything. Mal advised the water in the dams was low but we didn't mind as we were out exploring each day. The campsites are huge and the cows are friendly, we took a little dog who didn't like the cows when they walked through the campsite but the cows were unfazed by her and moved through quickly. I would stay here again when I'm up that way.

    Amazing near 360 degree views from this very private and clean campsite made this a lovely spot for a weekend camp. We saw a wide selection of birds, Roos, and an echidna. Trains are heard in the background, although not intrusive, and there are also views (and minor town noise) to and from the delightful town of Murrurindi. We really enjoyed our stay here.

    We both loved our recent stay with Christine and Dave. We loved it so much we will certainly stay again when we head back that way again hopefully in the future. Very quiet peaceful and relaxing spot nice mowed green grassy areas being only a short distance to Tamworth roughly 2km. Bird life was beautiful toilet shower was nice and close to us all and very clean. Certainly home away from home.Thank you so much again for our stay. Kindest regards Tracey and Rob.

    If you had the choice of either a caravan park or Christine’s land, Christine’s would win hands down. What a beautiful spot! We only stayed for 4 nights, could have stayed for 4 weeks. Had everything that we needed. Fell in love with the peacefulness and a beautiful horse. There’s even a small walk to the Peel River to go for a swim. Would highly recommend. Glenn & Tania 😊
